Golden Tulip Incheon Airport Hotel

As most may do, we've picked this one to stay one night before flying from Incheon Airport, so we wanted to have it comfortable, clean, close to the airport and still quiet enough to get proper sleep. This is what we got and even better than expected. Modern, spacious room with a washing machine, large comfortable bed, spacious, modern and very clean bath, the option to cook something (we did not), all directly at station so we jumped at the local airport (Gimpo), jumped into the AREX and traveled (more or less) directly to the (well hidden) front office of the Golden Tulip. All around the hotels you'll find everything you need: shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, DAISO, ... Breakfast in the hotel was good, likely one of the best (western) we've had in Korea so far. We've had enough time on the day of checkout, so we left our baggage in the hotel (for free), jumped on the bus, went to see the lovely coastline with even a SEA SIDE RAIL BIKE track (google: yeongjong sea side rail bike) and got a free airport shuttle to Incheon Airport from the hotel in the evening. All in all a great experience.

It was hard to find the reception at first, so if you read this: When coming from the station, do NOT take the first entry into the hotel (this is for the apartments only) and do NOT take the escalator upstairs but walk straight on through the patio into the second entry. There is the reception. The shuttle bus starts directly in front of the reception. It was also quite a bit noisy, even in the patio with windows closed, but this was more because of the party-people than planes/ street... anyway it was still ok.

Lovely big room, very clean and good value. Super easy to find right off the metro at Unseo, come out exit 1 and look up! Well lit and very safe feeling area to make your way to the hotel. Friendly helpful reception staff

The shuttle! Just as well it was easy to find from the metro as it was very difficult to book the free shuttle and then impossible to find at the airport. Just make sure you get some cash on the way through the airport, walk through following the signs and buy a ticket at the machine.

The hotel is really nice, the rooms spacious, big bed, big TV, big windows, clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night though on the way to the airport. The free shuttle takes 15-20min to Terminal 2 and 30-40min to Terminal 1. Very convenient.

The shuttle driver was on his phone and seemed overall very tired and sleepy (even though this was in the afternoon). That didn't make us feel safe. So, it would have been great to keep an eye on them. The hotel was great.

The location was great. Not far from restaurants and easy to get to from the airport. Room and hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was spacious.

The shuttle bus was not free and the way the luggage was stacked down the aisle with passengers was dangerous. Large and heavy luggage moved and fell as the bus turned corners. One nearly fell on a child.

the room was very good...but the faucet ( in the bathroom) was loose , and that can not be

breakfast was indicated as starting at 06:00, but the person at the reception told me that it started at 06:30, and that prevented me from having a breakfast that I had paid for... and it turned out that it really started at 06:00

The location was the best. Right next door of Onseo station which is 18’ away from Terminal 2 by airex. Also the Lotte mart right across from the hotel is open till 10:30 so i could fill up my hand carry carry with goods when i stayed at this hotel for one night. Also through booking by booking.com i can get doubled miles what i paid

The staff was a bit unfriendly. Maybe overwhelmed by workload. When i asked if Airex is open at 23:40 he said i dont know several times. Anybody would expect the staff would have that simple last train time as they are near the airport. So after asking tird time he walked to his coworker and asked. “Maybe u can make it if u try” was the answer.

We had an unforgettable overnight stay at the Golden Tulip on our way from Europe to Australia, Best value for money. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable, great beds and bathroom, the breakfast was amazing if you like to sample asian food and my wife really enjoyed the croissants and good coffee. The English speaking staff was very friendly and helpful, they made sure the aircon temp was right for us. We also enjoyed to be able to open the widow for fresh air. This new hotel is conveniently situated next to the railway station, one stop from the airport in a busy shopping and local food area. The hotel also offers a free airport shuttle, a courtesy coffee on arrival and they keep your bags safe if you check out early and want to explore. The best part was their kindness and honesty as I lost my phone in a nearby restaurant, they went to find it and post it to me in Australia. Special thanks to Mr Son for organising this. We are definitely going back to the Golden Tulip on our next trip to Korea.

Comfortable room and free shuttle from and to airport

Shuttle drivers couldn't speak English, so it was difficult to communicate.

The main room and bathroom are very big. The bed is comfortable. We received two coupons for a free coffee from the cafe right across from the check-in area. The hotel is located right next to the subway station. If you want to travel to Incheon Airport early in the morning, check the schedule, otherwise, you might have to wait for 15-20 minutes or take a taxi (around 8.000 Won).

The hotel is split into two buildings and it was a little confusing to find our way around. If you did not understand the instructions, please ask again.

The facilities in my Hotel Room were well maintained. The room was properly kept cleaned. The room was spacious, and it was suitably designed to enable me to Work in the Room. I am also glad that the Hotel had provide me with complimentary coffee coupons. The location of the Hotel is superb as it is next to the Airport Railway and it is near a shopping/dining district area.

No safe deposit box in the Room. The Glass Panel in the Shower Area is too small as the water will splash to the entire bathroom floor.
