Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Gangnam

This hotel was a perfect choice for my recent work trip. The location was ideal, situated within walking distance of my meetings and surrounded by a variety of excellent restaurants. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep after a long day of meetings. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable stay

The hotel itself was beautiful and offered excellent amenities. However, some staff interactions felt less than friendly. Their demeanor sometimes felt impersonal or even dismissive. For example, during check-in, the receptionist seemed rushed and didn't answer my questions thoroughly. With additional customer service training for staff, the hotel could significantly enhance the guest experience

the hotel itself is wonderful, compact, and quiet-located in the good area of Gangnam. Posco bldg is just opposite to the hotel. Many minimarts are around. The staff were helpful and attentive to guests. the front desk officers speak fluent English. They also located us in the high floor as requested., and the technician man came to our room super fast when we informed the front about the problem of the doorlock.

It's quite a bit far from the city center for tourists. So,it's kind of wasting time for travelling. Anyway, if your purpose is for business, it would be a good choice. Also,It's not convenient to use a train from/to the airport. This is not a problem if you use a taxi or rent a car.

The location was really good. Easy walking distance to COEX mall and lots of eateries/cafes around. Particularly convenient that 7/11 was just around the corner. Staff were helpful. Particularly the the restaurant manager was very helpful. I came down for the buffet lunch slightly late and she asked the chef for freshly cut meat from the meat station as they had initially closed it. Was really lovely of her to do so.

Deco was a bit dated but the place was clean and well maintained

This is a nice hotel, the staff was super friendly (we had some problems with the tours we booked and they called on our behalf to clarify things). The room was nice and it had a comfortable bed. The hotel is located 5-10 min from line 2 metro strop which is circular and allow good access to many sights in the city. There are also several convince stores nearby plus a Starbucks. All in all this is a nice hotel, good value for money and I would consider staying here again.

- Some interior is a bit outdated, but that does not affect the comfort. :) - Location is not central i.e. the main sights are in a different part of the city, though the hotel is close by the Coex shopping and conference centre and close to the Starfield library.

The Hotel service was continuous (24/7) as indicated at the booking online. The receptionists were very welcoming and always ready to help. From my entrance to departure, I remember the smiles on the faces of the Korean Staff members. The room service was always on time. They never missed to deliver the water and ensure that room is clean and neat for the next day. The restaurant team was also very welcoming. Breakfast was very much of all taste. Bravo to the Chef. The appliances in the room were in place: TV, Land Phone, Notebook with with pen, Little Couch 🛋, Lampstand, etc. The guest barely needs and outside appliance. Ibis Styles Ambassador provides the necessary (at least did for my stay). We pay for the stay at the arrival. The view on Samseong-ro and the Seoul Trade Center was awesome! That was the most memorable. Thank you, Ibis Gangnam. The location was great! ...

Some rare unwelcome noise in the Alleys (unknown if those were guests or visitors). But most of the time, it was very pleasant to stay in. There was a strange paper on the wall, close to the room mirror that made me think of a hidden camera 📷 or sound tracker. I never asked the question, so be in the lookout... Bank charges on stays may be confusing. I was charged at the hotel, and had to incur other charges the bank names (Adjustment fees; which are fees over fees already paid to the hotel). I still don't understand what that is... So please, always check with your bank that your Debit Card won't be overcharged for your stay. ...

Value for money, very good & polite front desk staff, very near to Starfield Coex Mall, Starfield library, subway station (5mnts walk), convenience stores etc.. it is the business hub of Gangnam, modern city.. we do enjoy staying in this area..

Furniture was a bit outdated & old but still in a very good conditions.. the price of our room was actually the same with the new refurbished room.. we were quite unlucky as the next day we checked booking.com, the hotel has offered new rooms with same price as ours.. but tts ok, we were still happy & satisfied..

Breakfast was just normal, nothing special, but ok for a short stay or a business-trip. Very good value for money (if receive a Genius discount), since the hotel rates in Seoul are too overpriced these days. There are some nice restaurants, bars and sauna around and the location is very convenient if you need to go a lot around the Gangnam district. Special thanks to the concierge lady, who was super nice and helpful with the luggage, texi and information service

The furniture is pretty shabby and the room is not very much spacious, but just ok for a short stay. The gym is too tiny though

The breakfast was very good, but when they told me it was American style I expected waffles or pancakes. It was missing one of those elements. But otherwise, the bar had coffee, lattes, eggs, bacon, salmon salad, Korean side dishes and other Korean items food. It was a nice hotel breakfast overall.

I thought it was a bit pricey. Maybe about 30,000-40,000 won less would have been nice. Even with VAT and breakfast included in the price.

Modern hotel and room. Very reasonal price for staying in Gangnam. Lots of restaurants and cafes closeby. Convenient location. Walking distance to COEX Mall (max 2 blocks) and subway stations. English speaking staff on reception. I was only there one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Noise from the traffic was minimal so no problem sleeping.

I only stayed one night so didn't get to make use of all the hotel facilities available.

The hotel is a short bus or taxi ride away to many other areas of Seoul. We were able to get anywhere we needed to be quite quickly. The staff was very friendly. I had booked a double room with just one double bed because that was all the site showed, but when we checked-in the staff offered to switched our booking to a room with two single beds. That was really appreciated because that was a better, more comfortable arrangement for my friend and I. Overall the lobby, room and bathroom were all very clean. I'd definitely book at this hotel again if I need to stay in the area again.

There weren't many restaurants immediately surrounding the hotel. We had to walk maybe ten minutes to get to the street where most of the restaurants were. Not really an issue for us, but something to keep in mind. There is a restaurant in the hotel, so you'll never be stuck without somewhere to eat in any case.
