Hotel Villa De Betanzos

We stayed here when we were walking the Camino Ingles. Reception staff excellent. Continental breakfast was included. It was self service. There was a good selection . It started at 7 which was good as we wanted to be walking before 8. We had a double room which was spotlessly clean. It was a bit tired looking and could do with a makeover. The shower was over the bath and it was fine and the water was hot but could have been stronger with a better shower head. It was only 5 minutes from the town centre and the Camino route . Overall it was good for one night but would benefit from some improvements.

the rooms were clean but basic - good value for the price though. the lady working on reception was amazing, so friendly and with lots of information. the breakfast was simple but included

Good location for the Camino. Easy to get on the way in the morning. Receptionist Angela was so lovely and helpful explaining everything and where places were etc. Breakfast self service buffet was basic but good.

Room a bit dark but it is an old hotel and had everything we needed so nothing to complain about.

The young woman at the front desk, Laura, went out of her way to help me. She was very kind and I was really touched by the assistance she gave me. The hotel was in a good location, and the breakfast was very nice as well and was included. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay in Betanzos!

The hotel is close to town in a reasonably quiet spot. Our room had windows on 3 sides which was nice. The receptionist was particularly helpful several times. The breakfast was excellent with a good range of fresh food and an attentive staff member. Excellent value for money!

The room was a little tired. Just minor details like a loose tap and some curtains couldn’t be drawn back.

location was excellent near the action but quiet. stately properly front desk staff was nice and efficient but very little English..

the breakfast was included and good enough but not allowed to leave with anything like an apple.

Very friendly reception. Clean room. Reasonable breakfast

Disabled access could have been better - there was a very small lift and tight turns on narrow corridors. Also a walk-in shower would have been preferable to the bath/shower

The location was very good. A laundromat was directly across the street, Supermercado close by and another store that carried a little of everything! Lots of small cafe’s and places to eat within a short distance.

I can’t think of anything. It was great!

Couldn't drink the water in room and no additional water left in room, water thing is a betanzos thing not specifically the hotel.

Historic building was beautiful. gThe had a good breakfast. the location was good ( near the main saquéate and close to the Camino Ingles). Nice refrigerator in the room.

Had trouble fixing shower head into position.
