Palacio de los Blasones Suites

The location was super . Literally a few hundred yards from the Cathedral . Set in a tiny street which we had to drive along to get to the underground car park . Neither the drive nor the street are for the faint hearted. And the car park CANNOT facilitate anything above a smallish car . We drive a mini clubman and it was TIGHT . Very attractive hotel . Simple rooms . But be warned , rooms looking out on to the street a very noisy at night . We visited the museum of evolution which was really interesting and well set out .

Just the street noise . Breakfast was minimal but ok . A great little cantina outside the doors to the hotel served lovely fresh tapas .

We like how big the room was, how clean it was also! As it was the fiestas del Burgos, they placed us as far from the noise as possible. Also my fiancé needed an empty bottle to use for his rowing race and thy went out of their way to find him one which was nice :)

I think for a 4 star hotel it should have better extra offers such as dressing gowns and slippers in the room, moisturiser as well. I've stayed at 4 star hotels in the world and they always include these extras.

Location, location, location, that’s was you are paying for. Near everything. For us it was very important to have a parking, and this hotel has one on premises. Also the staff, very attentive. Breakfast was good, different options to choose.

The rooms are very outdated, needs an update. Also, the rooms looked clean, but it needed a little bit more attention, I am very allergic and was sneezing all the time inside the room.

The size of the rooms were excellent. Is that the selling point that you get a suite for the price of a room?

The one member of staff at the desk was overworked. It is impossible for one person the answer questions from guests and also check people in at busy times of the day. I would suggest two receptionist at busy times. It is not a good look to have a the receptionists (who were very good) being harassed with guests waiting for attention).

Definitely a great location, right in the center with a view of the cathedral and side by side with nice restaurants and bars as well as the incredible evening life of the city in summertime. The room was very spacious, a duplex with plenty of space for the entire family.

The room was a bit tiring with old carpets already with some stains. It needs a refresh, perhaps by taking out the carpets, always very problematic for allergies and bacteria, and replacing them with plain wood. The breakfast could be a bit richer, with more Spanish and regional treats.

The staff was above and beyond. Not only did they arrange a multi country rental car for us without a hitch, they were able to get me an emergency dental appointment in less than 24 hours. Thanks especially to Aimia who found me a super dentist and turned us on to La Favorita around the corner where we ate every night. Babia down the street for morning coffee. Would not stay anywhere else.

Location close to all restaurants, shopping, sites

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. There was a wedding on the night we stayed here. We were on the Camino so we wanted an early night. However the music was blaring as the event was on in the floor just below our room. I would definitely stay here again but would request that the room was quiet and away from any events taking place. Other then this issue the room was great.

Spaciousness of room and location to visitor attractions. On-site parking. Heating was efficient, and there was plenty of hot water. Meal - we had lunch was excellent.

Noisy - people outside the hotel in the early hours of the morning were noisy. Whenever the bathroom door was opened or closed there was a loud "bang". Location of the barrier (for parking access) was not immediately obvious, especially if negotiating rush hour traffic.

Friendly front desk staff spoke good English. Room was huge (king size bed in main room and separate living room with sofas) and comfortable. Location is very central. Nice to soak in a full size bathtub. Wish I had some Epsom salt. All this at a reasonable Sunday rate.

Comfortable hotel right in the pedestrian central area

The staff were not at all welcoming or helpful, no help with luggage. Instructions for arrival by car were woefully inadequate, you have to mount the pavement and cross a pedestrian area with no indication of where to go before you arrive at the point where instructions start. Apart from all that it was a great place for a city break
