The hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic views across Cadaques harbour. The grounds are wonderful and the pools are great. The photographs on Booking.com don't do this hotel justice - it is far nicer than it looks! We had a pre breakfast swim and then a fantastic breakfast served in a beautiful room/terrace with a wonderful view. Will definitely book to go again!
You get charged extra to park a car overnight, which is perhaps a bit cheeky as almost everyone will drive, but minor in comparison to the great hotel!

What a lovely traditional hotel. Beautiful lounge, dining/bar area with a stunning view over Cadaques. The staff were lovely - the happy lady at reception and the young man who served breakfast and helped round the hotel especially. It was a peaceful, relaxing space.
It is a steep walk up the driveway to the hotel. We are young (ha ha) so not an issue, but please be aware. The hotel does have a buggy which I saw some people being transported in so perhaps this can be arranged. Our room wasn't the best - but perhaps we had the last room. It was small and had a view directly out to the hill. It was very clean as was the compact shower room. Must admit we didn't like the sound of what we suspect was a waterproof mattress protector on the bed! We weren't able to eat there as I am vegetarian and there was no option for me, so we went in to town to eat.

Clean, beautiful hillside landscaping, ample interior space, strong water pressure and very hot water, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely yard outside (artificial grass).
On a hill, away from the beach—not easy to return to frequently during the day. In spite of large interior, little shelf space (no cabinet) for clothes. No door sign to signal to the maid to clean. Lovely pools—wish they allowed nude swimming.

Fabulous location and charming hotel with amazing views of the Cadaques bay. There are 3 pools on different levels including one with a little waterfall. The staff was fabulous. The restaurant menu is simple but excellent. We came here at the last minute and we were so happily surprised!

beautiful property. Breakfast was great. Lovely views. It isn’t in the town but we didn’t mind the walk in and out. Cadeques is such a busy town it’s nice to be a little removed. Was quiet.
I personally think it is overpriced. We had a room with a balcony which was nice and a little private. I certainly wouldn’t pay the extra for the terrace stepping out to the pool. Bathroom is very small.

Rec de Palau is truly a fantastic hotel - it's setting is breath taking and the staff really couldn't have done more for you whilst there. Special mention must go to Soufiane who provided an unbelievable service to myself and my friends - he went above and beyond and no ask was too much for him and his team. The ambiance around the hotel is nice & relaxing and all aspects are kept to a very high standard - I can't recommend this hotel enough if you are staying in Cadaqués - we will certainly be back again for sure!

Gorgeous hotel, views are spectacular and rooms nice and clean. Pools are lovely, wifi works great and golf cart available to pick you up if you dont want to walk up the steps. The staff are amazing. Special mention to Soufiane who couldn't have done more to help us. He was always there to answer our questions, bring us drinks from the bar and drive us up and down the hill. He was brilliant, thank you soufiane!

This place is such a hidden gem! The staff is friendly and the location is breathtaking. It’s a short walk into town (so not suitable for elders who can’t walk up hill) but an amazing, romantic getaway for a couple.
