Iberostar Playa de Muro

Beachfront is super convenient with a great view. We went running every day on the beach before breakfast. Free water station is available on every floor to reduce use of plastic. Sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room are awesome. SUPs (paddle board) and kayaks are available for extra charge at the hotel near the beach. The hotel offers free workout classes such as yoga, Pilates, Tabata, aqua fit…etc. On-site gym is very practical especially we ate too well at the hotel. Free parking is easy to find right in front of the hotel. We had no issue finding parking during the month of May. The room looked a lot better than the photos. Many cyclists, family, young couple with children, and some couples stay at this hotel. The hotel gives an immediate relaxing holiday vide. Staff are very friendly and nice. It was truly a beach vacation we dreamt of. We liked it so much, so even extended 3 more nights at this hotel.

Jacuzzi and sauna weren’t always on or working. No room service possible and few delivery service in the area. However, if we would have taken half board, we most likely would not get hungry with their dinner buffet, which was delicious with many varieties. A few restaurant choices in front of the hotel, but it seems limited after 9 days. We will prefer to take half board next time. Hotel bars open until 10:30pm or 11pm. Not much going on at night in the area. It’s more for people who look for active holiday or families. It’s definitely not a party area. Beds are two twins beds next to each other. They do move around quite a lot, but it didn’t bother us too much. Bathroom doesn’t have a main door, but a glass door for the shower and toilet separately. Not very sound proofing at all.

+ The breakfast and dinner buffet is absolutely amazing: top notch food quality and tons of choices with different themes every night. + Love the facilities for a family stay with a young kid. + Great location on beach front + Family friendly live performance every night + Also love the Iberostar application where we can track daily activities + Our 3yo had a blast, and so did we!!!!

- Certain parts of the facilities are a bit old and water tends to leak a lot from the shower onto the floor outside of the shower - Sound proof between rooms can be weak, especially if your next room neighbor lives like they are in a house and moves furniture and talks all night long!! We had the most horrible neighbor for 5 nights and on the 5th night we had to call the reception and they sent the security team within the next 5 mins and the neighbor finally quieted down. - If you want absolutely a quiet room and and if you have a young kid that needs to go to bed before 9pm, make sure you ask specifically for a room that does NOT face the main swimming pool as there is live performance EVERY NIGHT until at least 1030pm!

The property is beautiful, and clean. The rooms and views are nice but the beds/linens/pillows could be upgraded. Staff is wonderful and the activities on site for both kids and adults is great. We saw some awesome bands and watched some fun shows during our 5 days. They also had bounce house slides for the kids by the pool one of the days we were there. The kids club is nice and you can drop kids off from 10-12 or 3-5 to do activities. Susana was the best with the kids! The food and drinks were very good and there was variety each day. The hotel is right on the beach and beautiful. Take advantage of the free professional photo opportunity on site! We loved our photos.

It would be nice to be able to eat dinner in the same spot as lunch to enjoy the water view. Bedding needs to be improved.

location, friendly stuff also, the entertainment was on top. the invited music bands were good. and in general the entertainment team was doing their job

paying for a water at dinner spoiled a little bit my stay. I assume it’s the same water from coolers we have in the hotel plus I didn’t didn’t see much variety of food at breakfast

There are a lot of positive and good things to mention.Starting from receptionist Aurelia who saved our holiday and made more then her best to make as happy.Thank you Aurelia! The hotel is very clean, beautiful new rooms,very tasty food,right on the beach.We had been offered by Aurelia a different more quiet room so you may consider to ask for quiet room when check in if the hotel will not decide to make improvement with their show program but hope they will as i sow in reviews i am not the only one complaining , overall the hotel is good from all points of view especially staff Ibelostar you need to apreciete your staff they do made a big difference but you may consider to change show manager as it is ruining your hotel reputation.

i think the hotel need to take serious actions maybe to change the scene place or time of their show programme from 9/10pm to 8/9pm as at 10pm to listed rock music like it is performing in your bed it is not holiday,they really need to make improvements with their show programme as i sow in reviews i am not the only one complaining , overall the hotel is good from all points of view especially staff Ibelostar you need to apreciete your staff they do make a big difference but you may consider to change show manager as it is ruining your hotel reputation.

The cleaners will make all the difference in the world. Towels, laundry and all facilities were well maintained and clean. The pool and restaurant were always a pleasure to visit. Love the fact that the staff help us to learn more Spanish :) After all, it was a great holiday.

Not that anyone will read this, With far too many bikers over the season, I'd propose the stand for our bikes. That will, at first, put us away from leaning our bikes over the walls or furniture, and second, it will ease that manipulation in the room.

Easy to get to from Palma Airport; right on a beautiful clean sandy beach & turquoise sea Playa de Muro; Fantastic staff - everything you could want from a dedicated team - friendly, responsive, professional, attention to detail, committed to safety & cleanliness to enable us to have a fabulous holiday; great food with so much variety; great entertainment; although I didn’t need it for this trip the hotel was perfect for families with small babies through to teens - I would definitely recommend/bring my family here. Beautiful beach bar. I thought this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been in - and I’m old & well-travelled around the world!

The hotel is conveniently reached via airport bus (the stop right at hotel). Staff are all well trained and nice, they also had a lot of staff maintaining the cleanliness at public area so is good. Breakfast and dinner buffets are with lots of varieties and dishes are changed every day so you wont get bored. There were activities available at hotel but we didnt have time to join. Overall is recommended to couples and families. I am impressed by Iberostar and will come again.

Special pool area for children also with a playground The personal was always very attentive and nice, from reception to cleaning, everyone was always greeting with a smile Food was amazing (we did breakfast and dinner package) high variety, good quality and for dinner they change the menu every day. Really top! Room with very good space and very clean The beach is really close: Very shallow and calm waters with a massive soft, sandy and really clean beach. If you use the kiosks with sun beds, they don’t belong to the hotel so they charge, but you can just be at the beach and use your own stuff

The temperature in the pools was very cold I had read the kid’s club was from 2 years old, but it is actually from 4-12 years old Just to say something about the room (it is a very small detail and didn’t bother us actually): we didn’t have where to hang the towels and hand towels
