Room very comfortable and clean; bedding was heavenly; staff very attentive; adequate hangars, full length mirror & space to put luggage; location is excellent; no problems with noise, plumbing or security; in-room safe tricky to set up but working ok; ability to keep AC going with extra room key allowed

Remote control for AC very tricky to turn on, had to ask for help several times (no instructions & staff didn’t seem too clear either) but AC worked well; difficult to carry luggage up about 8 steps to get to our room; breakfast tasty, very convenient and reasonably priced for a buffet but same every day

I am not exaggerating when I say that this has been one of the best hotel experiences I've had in my life, and I've travelled quite a bit, both for work and leisure. My room was so much better than I expected for the really convenient price - spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfy - the whole atmosphere was so nice I wanted to spend more time in the room haha. Everyone in the staff was extremely nice (I didn't get their names, unfortunately) and warm and made me feel very welcome. Bathroom was perfect, location perfect - super close to Casa de la Conchas and La Clerecía (if I remember the name well). I already started to plan a return to the city, this time with my family, and I will choose this hotel again for sure.

Coffee could have been better - the machine they had was not that great, but that's a very minor thing compared to all the good ones.

From the very warm welcome from the front desk staff and the great room we had - comfortable, clean, cozy beds, etc. We loved the location - just steps from the Plaza Mayor and right near the university. We walked a lot all over the city and always felt we were coming home when we returned. The surrounding neighborhood is just so beautiful, safe, and very medieval looking. We did lots of shopping and dining also. This hotel is great value for the money - we stayed there for a week.

I really don't have any dislikes for this hotel. Just to say that I wish we could have stayed longer.

Location was excellent in the heart of Salamanca. Close to Plaza Major, and just up the street from Clerecia and Casa de la Conchas. Air conditioning worked well. Complimentary water bottles in the fridge, which was great in the 30 to 40+ degree C weather. No smoking in the hotel, so no problem with smell or cleanliness. Good shower with option of hand-held shower head and good water temperature and pressure. Also the glass door on the tub closed completely so you don't have to worry about wetting the floor outside. Good wifi and friendly reception.

The bathtub is very small and the bottom of it was curved, not flat so difficult to stand comfortably. Some outdoor noise from people sitting in the outdoor cafes below but nothing that requires ear plugs. Would have been even more value if room included a kettle.

It is one of the cheaper properties that we could find and was excellent value for money. Excellent location in the middle of the old town. 24 hour helpful front desk staff, television and refrigerator in the room.

We were very happy. I read some reviews about people complaining of parking. Know that the prime location is more in a pedestrian area and all excellent old town locations in Spain can be difficult to access by car.

The location especially, the room was comfortable and staff were helpful.

The hotel tax we were charged for each night was €49 and this was requested to be paid separately upon checkout, as against other hotels that had the tax included in the total accommodation price, as well this tax amount was a lot more than any other hotel we experienced.

The hotel is well located in a pedestrian area not far from the Plaza Mayor. We arrived by car and parked at the underground Parking Le Mans which is within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning in the room was very efficient.

The shower room was quite small. The window in the room looked into a well housing air conditioning units. This was not important to us as we spent little time In the room. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was adequate but relatively uninspiring compared to breakfasts at similar hotels on our travels. I am not a fan of tinned fruit salad. As a tea drinker I have a distinct preference for a small teapot rather than a tea bag dunked in a small cup.

The building is beautiful looking outside, clean and modern looking inside. Location can't be better. The manager is also very friendly and tries to be helpful. I think some rooms have weak water pressure in the shower. Mine is very good. So it all dl depends. The price is also very good for such a fantastic choice.

Maybe the shower head can be more updated in places?

I loved the bed. The mattress perfect, SO comfortable! And the pillow, I haven't had a comfortable pillow in a hotel, ever! Also, the shower. Great pressure and hot water.

There were a little balls of dust when I came into the room, one or two and there are black mouldy lines between the tiles in the shower. I tried to rid of it by a finger and it went. Seems then that the cleaning skips some corners once a while.

Excellent location, spacious room (I stayed in room 207), very clean.

No fresh veggies or fruits for breakfast. It can be a bit loud during the day, but from 11pm the on street restaurants and shops close. So it is fairly quiet for sleeping.
