The location is excellent, the apartments are very modern with everything you could need for a self catering stay (if you really want to cook!) Great shower and the place was spotless. The staff were fab, very friendly and greeted us with a smile every time we passed reception. We arrived at 11pm but we had been sent very clear instructions on how to access the building and the apartment since the reception closes at 8.30pm. We stayed in room 601 and had a great sea view with partial sun until about 2pm. Ahoy booked transfers and worked out perfectly both ways

It just one small thing...when there are two people in an apartment, it seems a little mean that only one sun longer is provided. I did ask for another one but was told there wasn't enough space on the balcony...

Well finished (quality) apartments lacking nothing................ We were not too happy with the single bedroom apartment originally allocated to us mainly because there was no sea view. We mentioned this to Juan, the manager, who, once on the case, offered us an upgrade to the 5th floor, if we were prepared to wait a couple of days. At the same time I reported the corkscrew was missing, and was given a replacement before you could say "Vino Tinto"! Sonia was particularly helpful and friendly, too. An excellent choice of staff Everything was to be found, adequate saucepans etc., coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer, a mop and bucket, iron with board, copious storage space. for which a plastic step was provided to reach higher cupboards. The cooker hob and a useful built-in oven/microwave unit, both proved to be user friendly and the fridge/freezer was more than sufficient. As well as a dishwasher in the kitchen, there were washing machines and tumble dryers in the basement for use, free of charge. Wifi was provided free of charge, the speed was a little less than at home . . . . . its security might be questionable? So far I have not seen any problems following its use. Finally, a free of charge addition, an in-room safe. Normally, this would be charged for on a daily basis, so this was great peace of mind, in with the deal! I did not use the gym facilities, but the swimming pool was beautifully clean and fresh. A lot of the time we had it to ourselves though, as is often the case, selfish people "reserved" their sunbeds with towels. Not a fault of management but of their upbringing!! BEWARE: A return Taxi to Alicante airport cannot be paid for by card?!? According to our particular driver on the morning we left, it would have to be paid in cash! The reason he gave was that the card machines do not work in the vicinity of the airport due to poor reception ?? Fortunately, we had enough cash between us to cover the...

Little! The location leaves a little to be desired, but we welcomed the extra walking (to the beach etc.) as necessary exercise following the Covid lockdowns. There wasn't a single English TV channel, even for news. . . . . . . not that TV is the B all and end all of a holiday!

Everything was fantastic, could not fault anything at all! The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The staff were fantastic and friendly. Everything you need within walking distance - choice of supermarkets, local market (Weds and Sun), play park, cafes, promenade along lovely golden beach with local shops and great choice of places to eat. No need for a car as tramline at end of the road takes you to Benidorm and Alicante and taxi can be arranged at reception for airport. We will definitely be back!

Nothing, we were extremly impressed with everything. The only suggestion would be to have a small table and chair on small balcony to sit and have a coffee to watch the sunrise across the sea - did not detract at all from the great experience.

The facilities are very well suited for the purpose of our stay (work meeting). The staff, comfort, practical and delicate apartment all contribute to build a good spot for creative work. We also enjoy being so close to restaurants and possibilities for jogging, working etc along the beach.

We have no complains to our stay, and really enjoyed the beautiful ocean view. However, the terrace/veranda in our apartment (403) was a bit windy and cold at this time of the year. Coming from the winter in Scandinavia we are a bit eager to enjoy some fresh air at the terrace (which might be a very Scandinavian perspective:-)), but I think for example, that it would be appreciated if guests similar to us know that having an ocean view most likely means that you have sun at your terrace during daytime, while being on the side without ocean view means that you will have the sun during afternoon. I think we would have chosen the ocean view anyway, but such things are always "nice to know" if you get the possibility to choose on which side of the building you like to stay.

Location is great, 4 minutes' walk to lovely El Campello beach with all its bars and superb restaurants. Tram about 5 minutes' walk, giving access to lots more beaches and Alicante, Benidorm, Villa Joyosa, etc. And tram is so cheap. Staff on front desk VERY helpful and so friendly, nothing too much trouble. Adequate supermarket is cheap and only 3 minutes' walk. Airport shuttle much cheaper than taxis and on time both ways.

Pool is tiny and very few sunbeds, so in high season would be very difficult to use. Pool is not heated, so the sea is actually warmer. Also, it doesn't open until 9am and closes at 7pm, so not ideal The complex needs a bar or cafe (bags of room to create one). Lots of covered seating but nowhere to grab a coffee, etc, and no eating or drinking is permitted by the pool. One vending machine for sweets and cold drinks, but nothing else. Aircon controls virtually impossible to understand and seem to run constantly at 22 degrees. Not ideal if you like the bedroom to be cool at night. This may be managed by the hotel itself, but we didn't investigate further because it was just about ok.

Easy location to walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Apartments are stylish and comfortably furnished. Great facilities - pool, gym, parking (paid) and free laundry. Jennifer at reception was very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

No cooking basics and no recycling initiatives available. Would be great to get rid of the single use “cleaning kit” and to supply dish cloths to dry dishes instead of paper towel. We were unlucky to have a very noisy family with 5 young kids across the passage that made a lot of noise at nighttime. Despite management getting involved they were unable to solve the problem:(

Had an amazing stay at Ahoy Apartments - the location was literally a 5 min walk to the beachfront,restaurants,supermarkets and public transport. The pool in the property is small but still lovely. The apartment we had was very modern and spacious and had fabulous views of the coast - great to watch the sunset/sunrises from!

There isn’t really anything I didn’t like but the only minor comments I would make is there is no pool towel availability so you need to bring one with you which when you are bringing carry on luggage is not ideal. Even if you had to pay a deposit I would have been happy to do so. The other slight thing (which is not major) but you have to take your bins out to the main bin facility on the main road when you vacate. For me I don’t see why this is not part of the cleaning service.

Apt like in pictures, good location, comfy bed, large balcony, great view, friendly staff, easy parking on the street, lots of kitchen utencils, beautiful pool area open 24/7. It would have been nice to have Netflix or more than one English channel in tv, however, evening walks on the beach boulevard instead were a better option. Room heating is very quick and efficient which was nice as the weather was a bit cool. Check in only from 4pm onwards because of siesta.

A minor issue, there's no separate heating option for living room / kitchen area and bedroom. If you turn heating on in the living room the bedroom will heat up as well. If you like sleeping in cool bedroom like I do, you need to open the bedroom window while heating the other room, which is not energy efficient.

Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our unit was on the 7th floor and had a great view of the ocean and mountains and overlooked a nice park. It was very spacious and clean. Bed was large and comfortable. Tram was 2 blocks away and was perfect for getting into Alicante or up the coast to Benidorm. Grocery stores within walking distance and beachfront with lots of restaurants close by. Having a free washer and dryer onsite was another bonus.

Ahoy was just perfect place to stay! VERY helpful staff, super clean, cousy apartment. Great location - all services near by. Sea view was amazing! During our stay hotel wasnt so busy and there was always places to be by the pool. Pool was a bit small but only 5 mins away there is a beatiful beach. Hotel borrows some beach chairs and umbrellas for customers - this was a nice surprice. Also free laundry room was used a lot. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Ahoy and could definately travel back one day!
