Travelodge Madrid Alcalá

Hotel situated only a 12 minute drive from the Airport (Standard €20 fare with the airport taxi's or approximately €15-20 using Uber). The Hotel is a great option for a quick, easy and quiet stay in Madrid. The Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There are plenty of restaurant and bar options on the main road (Approx. a 5 minute walk away from Hotel). The local Metro system will take you directly into the centre of Madrid within about 25-30mins at a very low cost (Nearest Metro - Suanzes).

Area is not very tourist friendly. It appeared to be based within a local business district.

Easy hotel to find and ample parking. The hotel is situated in and industrial location and therefore ideal for travellers who are there on business more than tourism. We stayed as it was within walking distance of the stadium or for those who have difficulty with walking a Taxi rank is across the road. Hotel staff spoke English to us although we can converse in Spanish, Room was small but clean, bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels etc.. Hotel was quiet and we were not disturbed by outside noise. We arrived back at the hotel at 12.40am and although people were purchasing food from the vending machine I did see that they were offering to prepare food for some guests. Breakfast was great value and plenty of choice and very tasty. would definitely stay there again in the future

The room was really clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was lovely and the accommodation was near supermarkets, restaurants/fast food places, and public transportation options. Overall, I'd really recommend this place for great value for money.

There wasn't any free WiFi in the room, which wasn't a problem for me because I have unlimited data, but could definitely be for other people. The location worked great for what I needed, but it's a bit far away from the city center so keep that in mind!

Very good location: 7 min to metro station, several supermarkets and fastfoods nearby. Very clean room, also cleaning is daily. Fresh interior, comfortable beds, modern TV.

Currently a construction is in progress close to the hotel, so the noise starts in early morning every working day. Very small room, not enough places to seat, to put your bags and clothes. Almost nothing from equipment, even water glasses are absent. Too many doors may be opened only by hotel card.

The room was spacious for our group of three, bathroom was clean and shower worked well. The location wasn't too bad, there was 10mins walk to a store, fast food places and the metro, and we only needed one line to get to the city centre.

Only thing was that we got some ants in our room. They didn't disturb us though, and the bed was clean. Also we particularly asked to not have cleaning every day.

Spotless clean unlike other Travelodge . Staff are very helpful, polite and respectful. We appreciate their help in keeping our big luggages after check out in the morning and we could collect those in late afternoon before our train to Barcelona. Really enjoyed staying at this Travelodge .

Slightly far away from city centre .

The staff is very helpful and they speak English too. I must mention Angel from the reception who helped my daughter with her luggage and other belongings when she arrived at the hotel. He was a real angel 😇. The girl in the restaurant, Andrea, she's great, always with a smile on her face.

One little thing, in the shower, I would have preferred a hand held shower than an overhead one, but that's only a little thing.

We really liked it. We came there in March for a free days. The room was spacious, there was a big comfortable bed. But te second one was like for a child. So an adult couldn't really sleep in it. The desk was ok. The internet was great- we had to work for a few hours a day.

It was a bit cold and no heater in the room. I think in winter it's not the best place to stay at.

Reasonable size room with comfortable bed. Clean throughout. Good location, metro station and bus network nearby. Convenient 24-hour check-in. Staff very friendly and eager to help. Some restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in close proximity.

No WiFi in rooms.

The guy on the front desk was very friendly and polite, got us checked-in and checked out quickly. We were only there for a few hours before our flight but it's a good location for the airport and the room is pretty decent too. Good bathroom, all very clean.

The step into the shower was a bit high I suppose. Possibly needs a little warning sign or sticker as it might catch some people out. I can't comment on anything else really as we were only there for such a short period of time.
