H10 Rubicón Palace

My two kids loved the kids pool area. It was the only fresh water pool. The rest were salt water and it irritated our eyes. So we couldn’t use them. The food was good could have done with a little more variety

One of the receptionists was very rude when I was asking for towels. Our sink was leaking in the bathroom. I had to report it three times. And same receptionist was rude when I reported it. Air conditioning wasn’t working. I feel let down by the lack of interest in helping their guests.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the included buffet at Tabaiba was really good, and if you are half board you get to eat at the specialised restaurants 3 times per week as well, my favourite of which was the Italian dolce vita. I loved the spa and went there 4 times during my stay, it had some nice heated lemon and flower scented baths, a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, heated pool and a sensory pebble walk. I also had a hot stone massage which was very relaxing.

Everything was great! My only issue was trying to find drinking water. They said you could buy a reusable bottle and fill it for 1 euro each time, but every bar I went to was sold out. I had to buy lots of disposable glass bottles instead, each one only 75cl and costing 2-3 euros. You also had to get water while the bars were open (as you can't drink from the tap) so it would have been good to see a vending machine for if you need water late at night.

Breakfast was good, similar fare in all the restaurants but very good quality. They are re tiling the main pool, lifeguards at all pools incl kiddie pool Grounds/views were lovely

Restaurants had staggered opening times so with baby who goes to bed early we couldnt avail of them

Well staffed reception so no waiting to check in. The room was very clean, well equipped, a large balcony with excellent views. Pleasantly surprised with the welcome offers, a free bottle of cava and the availability to dine in the Prestige restaurant.

Being a 5* hotel I would have expected a standard of dress in the restaurants, for dinner at least. Sadly this didn't appear to be the case with numerous examples of men in shorts and sports vests wandering around the self service areas.

Beautiful surroundings and views across the sea to other islands making it a very relaxing stay

Great room, very spacious, large balcony.

Some guests not dressed appropriately, ripped shorts and cargos and still allowed into cocktail bar and restaurants even though dress code should rules apply

The location of the hotel and the fact that it was quiet (apart from occasional unnecessary music at breakfast). Seaview room was nice with huge balcony. Food was good throughout and, though we sampled some of the other restaurants, we preferred the choice of the buffet dinner. Even though one pool was out of action there were other pools available. The addition of several complimentary goods was a nice touch.

Not much we didn't like. Only very small gripes were the lack of any fresh fruit juices at dinner and having to find 2 euros each time we wanted to play pool even though the room prices were not cheap. Also, somehow, the 18 hole miniature golf is now a 6 hole course!

Beautiful, grand hotel, impressive reception on arrival. Beautiful (multiple!) pools, huge extension, loved the bungalow-type accommodation just by the beachfront; great (partly outdoors) gym, beautiful seafront promenade (also great for running). Staff very helpful, we were given a room which we did not really like as it was kind of enclosed far back, returned immediately to reception and were offered the best option possible, a ground-floor room with direct access to a little terrace 20 m from the main pool, really made out stay absolutely top!

The restaurant was a bit too crowded and the system to get served by cooks for certain food instead of having everything readily available; this caused cluttering, also as the passages from food stands were too close and was hard at times to move around. I hate queuing for food in a 5 star hotel

amazing hotel . staff friendly and very helpful . Hotel spotlessly clean speciality restaurants were very good especially the Asian and Italian . snack bars great and speciality coffee and cake Cafe was delightful The Bistro was also very good Impressive cocktails at the bar All Staff especially at reception and Guest relations With a special thank you to Georgia in Guest relations it was my partners birthday and she made it very special and memorable we loved our stay we will defiantly recommend this hotel and will be back on October

Slow service at the bar but it was a very busy time perhaps have a few more staff on or set up and app for table service but it did not bother us staff working very hard all the time x
