MUR Neptuno Gran Canaria - Adults Only

Good food with wide variety of fresh food and different menus every day with plenty of meat, fish and veg dishes. Friendly staff. Surprisingly quiet rooms; despite being near the Jumbo centre, the soundproofed windows kept all noise out, and the secondary inside door kept the noise from the street through the room front door out too.

Sauna closed. Steam room closed. Pool Slide closed. And dining room was not very inviting. Very bright lights and loads of tables. Just some dimmer lights and plants would have made all the difference; I actually chose to eat out a few times (despite being half board) because I wanted a nice relaxed ambient restaurant instead of a very bright room with no atmosphere....

Friendly & welcoming staff. The hotel was very clean, the food selection for breakfast was extremely good. the pool area was lovely and very relaxing. Right next to the Yumbo centre so was noisy at times but no fault of the hotel.

We requested a room with a pool view which we didn’t get so we did mention it and we were told we could possibly move the next day. However, nothing was mentioned to us after this and a day before we were leaving they sent a note through the door saying we could move rooms. so that was pretty annoying, poor communication but didn’t ruin the holiday.

Good facilities, clean and nice to be across the road from the yumbo centre. Spent almost the whole week around the pool. The only downside was having to put your towel down to reserve a sun lounger before breakfast! All inclusive food was great but some days got a bit boring ! The midday sangria was holiday highlight!

The pool area is a bit over-crowded. some nights the all inclusive meals were a bit dull, they could do with a bit more garlic and flavour. but great value overall.

Great welcome. Staff where fantastic apart from one. Pool towels at the hotel. Room cleaned to high level every day and fresh towels. Food was great and for lunch order from menu. Me and friend loved it.

Being singled out by an old man in the restaurant. Shouted at me in front of other guests ‘you got beech shorts’ The was a sign but I saw for days people coming down in things that where on the sign at the door. He did not pull me to one side. I did not want to argue so agreed. Then went to get food where I left my mobile and door key on the table so that I did not get moved. I came back and the same old man had moved my table and touch my things and moved them elsewhere. I was so up set by this man. Ruined my evening. Also the pool is small and you can’t do lengths.

Food in both the dining room and the pool snack bar was excellent. The room was well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a good-sized balcony. The shower was excellent, with a good supply of water at a constant temperature

The pool area is rather small, so that sunbeds are placed very close together. The pool itself is somewhat dated, with some tiles missing from its base. In our room, the bathroom could do with some cosmetic work, e.g. grouting, to bring it up to standard.

- location. - friendly staff, from the front desk, domestics, kit CJ Sa and dinning staff. - the receptionist was great (Andrea) she allows me to checked in earlier . And whilst waiting for me room to be ready, she gave me a free breakfast. - Alejandro helped me settled the bill and assisted me to Book a taxi on the day of my chaeck out.

It’s not like I don’t like it, for Me the choices of starters and main courses for dinner buffet were very limited or maybe not to my liking. However the dining and the kitchen staff were all working hard and very friendly.

The pool was beautiful, and complementary sangria was a lovely touch. Room was nice and comfortable, I liked that all the room balconies had a view overlooking the pool. Housekeeping service was very good and quick. Breakfast was good. Hotel service staff and reception were friendly. The gate to Yumbo was really convenient.

It wasn’t obvious how to find the spa, I forgot there was a spa until my last couple days but I couldn’t find it. If it was clearer or if reception had informed me on arrival I might’ve paid for a treatment.

1. Dinner service might benefit from more focus on restaurant quality - sometimes was a little 'school dinners'. 2. Major problem with a large number of guests putting out towels on sunbeds early in the morning; the hotel has a policy not to accept this but fails to enforce this - in consequence we often could not find 2 sunbeds together while many around us with towels were unoccupied. The hotel really needs to sort this out - it's exceptionally annoying. 3. Snack bar food hours are very limited.

I like all aspects of this hotel It is exceptionally comfortable with good beds and an excellent breakfast awaiting guests each morning. The front of house staff at reception, breakfast staff and all other departments are always cheerful, happy and welcome guest with a happy disposition. The location is great and only few minutes walk to the Yumbo centre. I have stayed here previously for me this is my no 1 favourite hotel here in Playa del Ingles. Well done all at the Neptuno. Absolutely nothing whatsoever.

The hotel is great, super clean and friendly, I took the all inclusive and the food was good, though a bit oily but you have healthier choices to choose from, plenty of veggies. The menu says drinks are not included in the all inclusive, but they do which was great. Another big thing they did is that though the entrance is from the street side, they have double doors to eliminate noise, also the terrace door eliminates the noise from yumbo. Again I want to chapeau the amazing staff, all very professional and nice, from the cooks, waiters and cleaning. Top notch

Even fir all inclusive, the room safe is additional charge, and the shower temperature changed from hot to cold, Also the gym is not really a gym, few weights, treadmills and a broken multi trainer.
