Camelina Suites - Formerly Torrent Bay0

This was our third time staying here, twice when it was Torrent Bay. It's quiet, clean, friendly, centrally located near beach, shops and restaurants and has an amazing pool! Our room was cleaned every other day and linen changed frequently. The bus stop is also a minute's walk away which is so convenient. Loved going to the beach early (8am) before anyone else and feeding the fish, one of our highlights!

The complex is looking a little tired now, some tiles were cracked or broken. There's a lovely little cafe inside, unfortunately it's only open from 8.30 to 4pm which is a shame, it used to open at night which would have been much better. However the staff were amazing and the food was good.

The rooms were cleaned every other day which for our stay was sufficient. All chamber maid/cleaning staff were very friendly and amenable to returning at a later time in the day when asked. Beaches are stunning and although rather expensive for drinks/food, the standard is far superior to many beach bars in other European resorts, including UK. Huge balcony with plenty of additional seating so we were able to invite friends to join us for food/drinks. Plenty of space. All the amenities we would expect to find to make our stay comfortable.

Not so happy that dogs were often seen on beaches where they were not allowed (signs confirmed this). Rather a concern seeing them toilet in areas where children are playing in the sand. I would have preferred the option of a later room clean as often we were having breakfast. Some inconsistency in the standard of modernisation in some rooms, Ours was a little outdated compared to our co-travellers who had a 1 bed apartment. Mattresses and pillows a little basic.

the apartment was perfect for us with our daughter. it’s definitely great for families. nice and relaxed surroundings. it was modern, clean and had everything you needed. It had a great compact kitchen that we managed to make some nice meals in. our apartment stepped right out to the pool side which was brilliant. the pool was great, including the small pool. small play area was a bonus for our little one. the pool restaurant was only open for breakfast so nothing in the day but as we had our own kitchen we could get drinks from there. it’s a stone’s throw from the beach so that’s was fab. and a lovely couple of restaurants next to the apartments. the staff are so friendly and helpful. if we needed anything they were so accommodating. we will definitely revisit these apartments.

if I had to say anything, it would be that the pillows could have been a little softer. but there really isn’t anything to complain about.

Quiet location, good for families. Breakfast was plentiful and hot options changed every day a nice with an ever smiling host with fresh coffee. Nice small resort, not far from the beach with kitchen balcony and pool. Lots of parking slots. Ibiza itself is small so easy to reach anywhere by car. Reception was mostly friendly.

Pool was cold, didn’t stop kids to jump in once though on one of the sunny days in Easter but remember you need your own towels for the pool. Not many eating options around especially for vegetarians and nearby supermarket closed for off-season but with a kitchen and having a car helped.

It’s the third time we have stayed at camelina suites over the past couple f years, we always stay in the bungalows… you get your own modern flat plus a terrace with sun beds and a back garden if you’re on the lower floor or a top floor terrace with 2 sun beds and a big balcony with table and chairs….we always prefer the 1st floor, less noisy. The staff are always super helpful and accommodating… we send special thanks to patricia ( I hope I remember correctly) with a bit of a challenge. If you’re young and want to be in the middle of everything, this place is too far out for you. Also I would suggest you need a car to move around, the place it’s at the far end of the bay.

Pool was great. Plenty of loungers and very relaxing as not too overcrowded due to time of year. Very clean apartment although facilities were limited. Was a bit tight for 4x people. Staff were brilliant.

It was a little cramped for 4 of us with 2 older kids. We upgraded to a different layout apartment and it was much better. Staff were v helpful in arranging this. Es Torrent beach was awful, disgusting and nothing like the pictures. There was an overflowing storm sewer with baby wipes and tissues and waste flooding across the sand and into the sea. We did NOT go in...

The hotel was so accommodating, friendly, clean and nothing was too much trouble. Our stay was easy from start to finish Gloria gave us the best welcome after being Up soooo early. We were able to get into our room earlier than the check in time. The breakfast was brilliant and excellent value for money the children were well catered for as well. The youngest wants to have the pool in our back garden! A great 4 nights spent for family time. Close to amenities, transport and beach. We would love to be back i believe next year is fully booked 😔...... That says something! Honestly could not fault it. Thank you for making the stay a home from home. The pool table was also a hit with the children.

Nothing!

Very Clean and bright, lovely big bedroom, nice comfy bed, nice little terrace with hanging space for towels, sun loungers, located right next to pool, kitchen equipped with everything and more!

Only down side was that we were on the bottom so heard notices from upstairs. Next time we go we’ve been told to ask to be on top floor…we will do that! Cafe Bar closing at 4 every day, not sure why??

Friendly, welcoming & really helpful staff! HUGE thank you to them all! They made my Birthday really special, especially the breakfast on my Birthday morning. It was delicious with lots of choice for us Vegans, loved the wholemeal croissants YUM! Great location near the beach and easy to get buses anywhere. The apartment had everything you could need and was modern and clean. Lovely pool and kids pool for the little ones, plus play area too.

Bathroom was a bit too small

Each time I have stayed at this hotel it has been a pleasure. The staff are exceptionally polite, friendly, and efficient. Each of them puts maximum focus on the guest's wellbeing and are always available with helpful tips. I stayed in a bungalow and the facilities were perfect. It was clean and spacious, and all required items were present throughout. Everything worked as it should - no problems. A couple of nights in April were chilly and additional blankets were located within the wardrobe. Rooms were refreshed and cleaned every second day. The pool is large, with lots of surrounding space. Port des Torrent beach is right on the doorstep. It's a delightful beach with sand, clear water and a nice sunset view. If walking is your thing, there are some lovely walks around the rugged coastline. The hotel is located outside of the main, bustling centre of San Antonio. It's a quiet area but it is only a 10 min drive from the centre. Buses also serve the route.
