Norte Hotel

Great location for a stopover en route to the Costas for us from mid France. Friendly welcome. Easy to find. Good home cooked traditional food at a reasonable price. Our dog was welcome for a small supplement. Simple breakfast to put you back on the road.

The surrounding area is a bit off. Not so good for walking the dog. Right by the main roads, road noise cannot be heard in the rooms. The surrounding industrial area is neglected, dangerous in places watch where you are walking, rubbish around. Big holes where draincovers should be. Big dogs in yards barking at you. But we wouldn't let that stop us from staying. We have stayed before and will stay again.

Just off the motorway, ideal after a long journey. Reception was swift. Room was large,huge bed...large bathroom with great shower over the bath..water pressure was powerful. Toothbrush and paste provided. Hairdryer. Bar and restaurant.

Bed had 1 long pillow only,not ideal for 2 adults -would have preferred extra pillows. Breakfast was 10e for 2- but was a small glass of juice,1 toast or a pastry,1 tea or coffee....no selection of continental breakfast which we had expected. No tea/ coffee making available in the room.

Excellent location for onward journey into Spain. Be aware menu is mainly Tapas until around 20.30 when menu of the day becomes available. Food is ok if a little local and unusual for UK standard taste. Very little English spoken although they try hard. Staff are welcoming and very attentive.

It's on an industrial estate and geared towards business travel.

The parking was excellent, directly in front of the hotel. We were tired after driving all day and it was great to relax with a couple of beers on the terrace. The staff were efficient and friendly. The beer and food were good value, although it's obviously not Michelin star. The room was spacious and had been prepared very well. The hotel itself looked like a very good quality build and had a well appointed feel inside. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

I didn't like the outlook from the window, but it's a convenient location close to the main highway and the sound insulation was good, so no noise problem. The breakfast was a little limited, but the orange juice was freshly squeezed.

This was a clean and generally comfortable hotel at a good price. The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway but, not too close as we were not aware of traffic noise.

Our beds were hard and not the most comfortable. I found it very difficult to get comfortable and was as a result very fidgety all night. This was the only thing I didn’t like.

Hotel was good to find, accepted pets, lots of near car parking. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Able to eat outside with the dogs.

Was disappointed by the breakfast. Only had small coffee, small orange juice and one croissant. Left still hungry and thirsty.

Location was perfect for our purposes. The breakfast fresh and fast however very small. One had the option to order more at extra cost. The extra food my husband ordered was excellent.

We were disappointed- to say the least!- when 2 people entered unmasked- the 2 were known to the staff. Our bathroom- black mould has already grown on the sides- as per the attached pictures.

Meagre breakfast included .. limited to 1 coffee and 1 pastry per person…. you’d need to pay for the real deal

For a building that looks like leggo blocks, I was very impressed. Check in was swift, the room big aswell ad bathroom. Evening meal was fantastic, and the price.

Nothing, would I use it again? In a heart beat.

The Norte hotel is a good example of what a hotel in Spain should be a car journey .Room lovely clean and comfortable, The restaurant in hotel on site parking great food plus the bar area good . Have to stay again .
