Easy entry access. The apartment have most things you need, except hairdryer. Decent room size, a bit stuffy at noon. There are parking spaces and laundry room that can be use anytime. Taking the bus from the station is more convenient.

There is no exhaust for the stove and there's a warning about too much smoke will turn on the fire alarm (and fire brigade will come + up to 1000 chf fees), so cooking become a bit of challange but i guess opening the window solves this problem, it just became noisy because of the road voices. The bed is a bit wonky

Loved the customer support, we called at 3am about an issue and still received a solution. Even though there is no reception, we could always contact someone and it was very kind. The apartment itself is very beautiful, big and comfortable with every necessary amenities.

The getting the key system is very complicated. If you are in a place with bad internet you may not receive your key. Also, nowhere it mentions that you need to keep your NFC on and we were struggling with the key while checking in. Because of the steam the fire alarm could on and you would have to pay for the fire alarm and the notice was scary, so we could only cook noodles at very low heat in order to avoid the fire alarm so that was disappointing.

Took 2 rooms in same booking but they were on different floors that was bad

The kitchenette is equipped with all you need if you intend to do your own cooking. Clean and well furnished.

Location is quite a distance from city centre, but there's convenient access to shops, and with the country's excellent public transport, this isn't a problem. Perhaps the curtains for the patio door (we had the room with balcony) could be less transparent?

The room was clean and basic, shower was great. Had everything in the kitchen required. Location to transport is good.

Had problems trying to locate entrance, name of hotel not well signed, entrance is not obvious. Need clear instructions how to use the contact less and that just to pull door when it flashes green. It took us half an hour to figure out where the entrance was an how to open door. The room door did not open straight away was a little frustrated at first at the end of a tiring journey. Could do with tidying up outside to make area a little appealing as from the outside we were worried how it would be inside, lets the property down.

The view from our balcony was amazing. Overall the experience was very hassle free but the highlight was the kitchenette. It was very useful for us. The host was very prompt in responding to our queries.

We had to rely on our phones for entering the building and the room. After a long day of travel, my phone was totally drained out of battery. If I were travelling alone, it would have been an inconvenience to enter the property. I believe keys should be passive, like a card or a key, for a better experience.

Excellent location. Nearby Trolleybus service is available to reach Lucerne Station/ Boat rides. Clean rooms, good & appropriated kitchenware. Reasonable price compared with other nearby properties/ hotels Highly recommendable . Very much on the roadside but still noiseless.

TV is of no use as the language is Germen / Local, Hence, can't used. Also Towels, Napkins and Bedsheets were dirty. Please look in above to improve.

The Anstatthotel is situated in Emmen, some distance from Lucern but easily reachable by tram no. 2. The nearby older part of the local area (Reussbuehl) is pleasant and interesting, with some remnant houses in attractive styles and a very imposing church: St. Phillipp Neri. It's a simple walk from tramstop to hotel. One surprise was that we'd been placed on the motorway side - largely, no doubt, because the rooms with balconies at the back, depicted in the main photograph, were not in use (September being the wrong season? Different price range?). Being on the first floor, we found it easy to get used to the room. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen facilities more than adequate for our needs. I wouldn't have any problems in staying there again - all the more so, because Lucerne is such an exceptional city.

Nothing to complain about.

Our room was clean, the place is close to the bus which takes you to Luzern Hbf in 10-12 min. coffee and tea, clean towels. Lidl is close but you have to cross a highway which may take sometime. idk why there are a lot of bad reviews about self-check in. I enjoyed it. i downloaded JustIN app prior, the key were provided and worked well (just make sure you turn on your Bluetooth). the staff was nice and replied to my messages when I was booking.

I wish there were an AC and possibility to cook (I’ve read in reviews that if there is a steam you’ll pay for fire alarm so we decided not to risk)

I liked the welcoming chocolate and coffee, the apartment is very good with all necessary items and very good size. Personnel replied quickly

I didn't like that the app failed sometimes when I tried to open the door and the sheets of the bed were not soft (that can be improved). It is an innovative idea to use automatic check in to avoid receptionist but for some old people that cannot use smartphones it would be difficult
