Cascada Boutique Hotel

We were very pleased when we checked into Cascada Hotel. As it was our first time in Luzern, we were very grateful that Corrine Haari was there to help us and facilitate our check-in to ensure that it was a smooth process. She showed us to our rooms and patiently explained to us the different activities that could be done in Luzern. She never hesitated to clear our doubts and ensure that everything from our restaurant bookings and room was smooth sailing. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and we were blessed to have been able to get such a nice view of Mount Pilatus right from our balcony. The location was great and the lake and restaurants were easily accessible, only having to walk around 10-15 minutes to get there. Overall, we would rate this hotel a 10/10 and we would definitely want to come back again. Additionally, our experience here was even better after meeting such a kind person like Corrine Haari. :)

We booked a family room for 3 and was surprised to find the room very cosy and nice for 3pax. My daughter particularly liked her little corner. Room is clean with air-cond & we had a little problem with the air-cond and the mechanic was around even though it is night time to help settle the problem. Love the welcome drink at Bolero and free drinks in the mini bar. The hotel also gave out a visitor card that you can use for free travel on the buses & trains within the city plus discounts at some places of interest. Had Dinner at Bolero restaurant and it is one of the best meal we had in Lucerne. The staff at the reception & restaurant were all very friendly too!

We like the room the beds were very comfortable ( sofa cum bed can be better not bad though ok ok ). Refreshments in fridge were complimentary that was nice & morning coffee too at the restaurant . Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and also provided plug converter for entire stay . Bus stop is just round the corner about 100mtrs . There is an amazing Indian restaurant near by ( suggested by a gentleman at front front desk ) also for vegetarians tidbits restaurant at the railway station is awesome and you can catch the bus for it right next to the hotel.

It's a bit cramped up for 3 people because we had 3 pieces of luggage . It's good for a couple though. I didn't like the smell of the toiletries provided . A little bit noisy in the day time because of the close proximity of railway station but not much.

The two front desk ladies, Valeria and Mimi, are exceptional customer service people. On a scale of 1-10, they should get a double to 20! They were always friendly, informative and extremely helpful. Because of them we will stay in your hotel again when we return in the future. The property is wonderful! Loved our room, the breakfast in the morning was delicious, the restaurant Bolero was an exceptional meal! The location is close to everything and a 6 min walk from the train station. Can’t wait to go back!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel.

the food was great and very fresh, breakfast buffet was spectacular, deck directly by the ocean was gorgeous, view from the lawn and pool in general was very nice too, renting a car was super easy at the reception and car was brought to walking distance to the hotel

people smoking on the balcony, no shuttle or pick up from the airport, some of the reception staff wasn't very helpful, one man was super nice and helpful and recommended a wonderful tour with the car- thank you), view from our room wasn't very pleasing, hotel didn't meet the request to have rooms next to each other even though it was low season and we booked way in advance, our son wasn't allowed at the indoor pool and had to wait by himself in the room, whereas other people brought their kid to the SPA pool

Excellent location super break fast Friendly Staffs Any issue, just inform the Manager Mrs. Suzaine( pls be sorry if the name is wrong , i forget ) and she will fix in minute meeting point Frankenstrasse 2 - 4 for all tourist package (info tour swiss ) is close by 100 meter All inside Luzerne CITY trams , bus are free with this hotel booking along with WIFI Luzerne city free WIFI available in complete city One good hotel BOUTIUQE -(SPANISH ) is available in ground floor . so no need to search for other restaurants if u like Spanish menu

The room was really nice and had everything I needed. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. Free (non alcoholic) drinks from the mini bar, really nice! Also got voucher for drink for saying no to cleaning one day and also a drink since I was staying for some days. Loved that! The staff was wonderful. Everything was well explained when I got there and you got bus ticket to travel around the city. The location was good, short distance from train station. Also, breakfast was really good. Would definately stay there again.

We had a really lovely stay here in this hotel, Valery on check in was most pleasant and extremely helpful. The breakfast staff always smiling and very welcoming and helpful. Ear plugs were a nice add but we didn't need them. Location was perfect with lovely walk 3-4 min to the train station and that was a town in it's self lovely eateries there. In general a really pleasant stay. Also we only realised the room fridge was free unless we needed to replace that was very nice touch. we didn't use as before were caught expensively. That's what i get for reading the little leaflet.

For Your Irish Customer Breakfast tea in the room however, the staff in the restaurant were happy to give us tea bags.

Good breakfast for CHF20 with choice of eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash brown and all the cold cuts, cereals, fruits etc. Coffee machine even has options for milkshakes. The pillows and beds were comfortable, and our quad room is spacious. You can open the room door using the hotel app, so there’s no worry of forgetting the door card.

The bathtub is rather high to get in, and it doesn’t come with an anti-slip mat to prevent accidental slips. Water pressure and heat were good. No toothbrush/toothpaste, though shampoo and other amenities were provided. Didn’t get to try their restaurant Bolero as it was fully reserved for dinner over the weekend.

On our first stay we were having our breakfast and when I asked one of the staff to bring me an omelette without beef. She literally heard what I said and she even repeated after me. No beef? Ok! So, I waited more than 10 minutes to get my omelette but unfortunately It was with Ham. which is definitely it’s a kind of beef. Then I asked her to remove it but she wasn’t happy about it even it was her fault. I don’t know her name but she look Asian anyways.
