Hotel in central location close to most attractions in town and train station is just a short walk away, thus a good base from which you can explore Val Poschiavo with ease. Had a complimentary room upgrade to a much nicer room with splendid mountain views. 😍 Room was spacious and clean, especially liked having a Balcony and also Kettle to make tea. Hotel has a Lift so didn't have to lug heavy bags up & down the stairs. Able to stow luggage at Reception after Check-Out which was much appreciated. 😊

Most service staff here do not speak English so communication was a problem. Staff on breakfast duty seemed rather surly on both mornings, which did not make for a good start to the day... Could be due to language barrier, will probably have a more pleasant experience if you speak Italian or German. 😉

From the first moment of entering the hotel, it was clear that the emphasis was on service and comfort to its guests. Our room, with its balcony view over the rooves of Poschiavo, was wonderful. The cleanliness and attention to detail could not be faulted. The breakfast, and the lady who took care of us, was exceptional. We felt not just well-fed, but well-cared for. We stayed two nights (and would go back in a heart-beat!) and the lady remembered exactly how we liked our coffee and eggs on the second morning. There was a welcoming feeling from first to last. Poschiavo itself is a quiet and very beautiful place - and the Hotel Suisse is only a few minutes walk from the train station. It’s simply lovely!

I loved the view, the shower, the bed and pillow. The room decoration was really the coziest one!! The location was also great!

I didn’t like that they don’t offer service room. We were quite tired and didn’t feel like going out on a Sunday night to eat, so we went to the reception and they told us we should have booked our meal by the time of our booking and I guess I haven’t seen it, only the breakfast meal option. Anyways, I understand it is complicated to have the kitchen open on a Sunday night and out of skiing season so it’s alright, we totally understood, but it would be nice to have a few quick dishes like a soup or something that the staff can prepare easily and send to the room of the very tired travelers 😅

When I arrived, there was friendly man and calm dog in the reception. My room was upgraded from single to double for free, which was really nice. Breakfast was included and it was great. Not ordinary buffet, but instead they made everything in order. I ate really great omelette. There were also different kinds of cheeses and meats available.

The young Italian receptionist was excellent. Very helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay.

Dinner in the restaurant was not great and to us CHF 8 for a bottle of water was excessive to say the least.

The room was cozy and the restaurant / bar downstairs provided for every culinary need we could have had. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. For any future visit to this area, we will keep this hotel in mind.

The bed was not a double bed and their frame made the distance between them „substantial“. But apart from this small shortcoming, we can’t complain about anything.

Comfortable hotel with a smooth check in with the helpful and friendly staff. A comfortable room which had a view towards the mountain, a clean bathroom too. A nice breakfast and I have a very tasty fried egg and bacon breakfast. I had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to stay there again.

Friendly and accommodating staff that spoke multiple languages. The room was comfortable and very clean. We appreciated having an electric kettle in the room and that the staff consistently replenished the tea with various flavors every day. The view from the balcony was stunning. The hotel is centrally located in Poschiavo, but conveniently provides free parking on site. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and we particularly loved the traditional Poschiavo bread. The restaurant (La Terasse du Suisse), while not in the same building (but across the street) has a great selection of local/traditional dishes and beverages. We are definitely considering coming back.

There were a few tiny stains on the curtains and the bathroom heater. The rooms were not soundproofed. There was no minibar in our room. From a corona-perspective, only providing hand sanitizer and distancing the inside tables was done for the buffet breakfast.

Very central, but an easy walk from the station. well equipped room and very good breakfast . Restaurant linked to the property was good .

Some works going on in front detracted from the look of the place

The location was great and it was easy to find coming off the train. The view from my little balcony was breathtaking and I so enjoyed having a cup of tea at the little table and chairs provided. Elevator worked well and was larger than many small hotel elevators. The breakfast was plentiful.

The shower was tiny. I wish the guests were more spread out. Because of Covid and the off-season only four guests in the hotel. A loud guest was put in the room next to me and you can hear everything through the walls.
