You know what you're going to get with an Ibis hotel - a clean, comfortable well run hotel with a decent breakfast. Staff were all very nice as well.
The air conditioning wasn't terribly effective and the location wasn't great - it was about half an hour or so to walk into the centre which was perfectly manageable but a bit further than ideal.

The people at the check in where very kind and empathic, we had a very rough day so it was nice they could catch us a bit. We might have startled them a bit with the whole story of the incident we had but they stayed very calm and kind.

Friendly staff. Great continental breakfast selection. Comfy beds. I really liked the trendy room decor which made the space much more interesting.
The air con wasn’t working in our rooms, so they were a bit warm for us, but we forgot to ask the staff if there was an easy fix (which I’m sure they’d have helped with)

the hotel was quite far from downtown and beds were not so comfortable, specially the pillow. Breakfast was very simple taking into account the cost.

It was a bit further away from tourists' spots and downtown. However, it is very close to express way.

In spite of the exterior looking a little shabby, the inside of the room was great. Modern, clean. They provided a child's bed for our 2 year old daughter without us asking and it was a great night's sleep.
We expected the worst when we rolled up the the hotel. The exterior needs a bit of love, but it's a budget stay so we can't really complain too much.
