Hotel Central Am See - Beau Rivage Collection

I fell in love with this hotel. Right on the lake, with lively terrace for breakfast, drinks/tea, dinner. By great good fortune, I had a corner room with a huge terrace. Truly, I did not want to leave. Clean, spacious, comfortable, great shower/tub! And views, views, views!!! Please read in the "negative " section where I refute some others' negative reviews. I'm already planning my next trip!!!

Not a problem for me, as it was lovely, war m-but-not-hot weather, but I don't think there is air-conditioning. I also think price varies based on time of week/year. Midweek in June in Switzerland, it was a more than fair price!!This is an older hotel...but we'll kept. Others have commented on it being run down or lacking services. I totally disagree with that.. The room and public areas were not high style, but attractive, clean, comfortable. . if you are looking for "posh", chain-style, go someplace else!! You'll leave a room open for my return!!!

The location was good for boat trips, restaurants and there was some live music in the town, one evening. The hotel was nice with good facilities and a lovely view over the lake. We had a beautiful spot next to the water for our evening meal, our waiter was very attentive.

Although we had booked a smaller room, we were disappointed to see the wall had paint scuffs where there were areas of blue paint missing. Also, there was no headboard, you can see where there used to be one. The room was in the attic and was very warm at night.

This is an amazing place to stay, and you cannot get any closer to the waters of Lucerne. Little town of Weggis is a perfect spot for dining or getting on the boat for a ride on the lake. We saw swans and other water fowl from the hotel patio. The staff were very nice and Toby was especially helpful.

Breakfast was average, and there is only a small parking lot right next to the hotel. Pay for parking.

Prime location right at the lake with waterfront room. Breakfast is good but the same every day.

Restaurant personnel is not too friendly, they don’t greet voluntarily and have the right of way over guests. Call it attitude.

Oh my, this place was the perfect getaway! We flew in from the USA and rented a car. The hotell was the perfect distance away from Lucern. It was crazy quiet/peaceful and the staff was fun and kind and loving and awesome.

the staff are clearly overworked at the moment. for 4 days the same guys covering every shift. would have been good to get a decent coffee not out of a machine. One machine for all guests at breakfast. but I’m not picking, it’s a great place

This is a very nice hotel, with many services offered. Spectacular views from rooms. Clean. Convenient to town offerings including ferry….

A very nice stay. We love this quiet little town on Lake Lucerne. It is truly a gem when visiting this area. The view of the lake is unbeatable from this hotel with very easy access to swimming in the lake. The hotel is very nice, very clean, excellent staff and wonderful food. Highly recommended if you want to visit Lucerne but don’t want tot stay in the busy city.

Location of the hotel is perfect. View from the balcony was GREAT. You may have your breakfast in the breakfast room or in the garden, at the lake bank.

Fantastic location beside lake, with distant views across lake, with passing steamboats. Great swimming pool with access to lake swimming. Excellent dinner in restaurant beside lake
