Single Inn - Kaohsiung Station

The room was decent and I love the fact that a card is used for entering the appropriate floor and room. The window was big and I love looking down from the window to relax my eyes a bit before I went to bed. The canteen was a perfect place for dining though the music is a little too loud there. The location is perfect as it's just a 5-minute walk to a night market and a big 7-11 store is just opposite. The free breakfast was very decent. I had a cup of coffee every morning before I went out! Highly recommend for solo travellers.

The noise from my neighbouring room was a bit loud - it seemed like people closed the door by banging it instead of closing it by turning the knob. During my first night of stay, the lady next to my room coughed the whole night without closing the door. She talked on her mobile phone by opening the door as well. The noise was super loud. One good thing to note - earplugs are offered for free in each room and they helped! The wifi was unstable too. When I needed to work, I went to the G/F and the canteen and the wifi was good there. Problem solved, yay!

I had a room on the 10th floor, the soundproofing from the traffic below was satisfactory for me The bed was comfortable, room though small looked fresh and clean. Dining room on the second floor was convenient especially with the water dispenser

Though bathroom was kept clean, the orange rust on the tapware makes it look less well maintained. You cannot adjust any air filtration/conditioning in the room, it was mostly pleasant and decent temperature when I stayed but one evening it was smelling like vape juice, probably from someone vaping somewhere in the building. The artificial flavourings smell is worse than smoke and I do not want to inhale this either. I hope the building reinforces the no smoking rule and to include e-cigarettes as part of that.

The location between two major metro stop was ideal. It was walking distance to a lively night market, and generally a convenient place. The property is interesting... it's essentially a hotel filled with individual rooms using shared bathrooms. Half the rooms have windows (facing outward) while the others feel like a prison cell... though a clean, private one. The BEST thing about this place? It has a Japanese style onsen public bath on the second floor that is sooooooo relaxing and enjoyable. I stopped using showers on my own floor after discovering this onsen bath because... well, Japanese bathing is just so much more civilized and relaxing. Back to the room, the mattress is thin and the offerings are sparse... but sufficient for a single person's stay.

The mattress was a bit painful after two nights... but otherwise it's what I'd expected.

Room is simple, but for one person enough. Location Is very near to train station, many other hotels, shops and restaurants around.

Breakfast were terribile, honestly better nothing than this. The fruit was acid in the morning, cabbage was starting to be brown, as it was probably prepared much time before. Food didnt feel fresh. There was also very little choice.

The location is very convenient, the common area is super, super pretty and the onsen was a highlight of the stay!

The mattress was unfortunately very uncomfortable, the wall in my room was damaged and dirty, and overall facilities could have been a tad cleaner.

Location was good and bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean and had good options for bathroom.

Breakfast was not literally breakfast, they just put bread and peanut butter and chocolate cream. It's totally bad breakfast service ever I seen in my life. Staff can be more kind and welcome

The rooms are exactly like in the pictures, small but really cosy, comfortable and pretty clean. Nice window view from 11th floor :) Bathroom was clean.

Room insonorization is not exceptional, I stayed in a room close to the bathroom and I could hear people going back and forth. Not a problem though if you can sleep easily everywhere like me :)

Very cheap and nice location with clean facilities

Obviously it’s catered to a Japanese audience, so as a westerner just be aware that your room will be very small and the beds will be very hard. This is more of a warning than a complaint however.

Location: just 7-mins walk from Kaohsiung Railway Station. Bath: nice public bath where travelers can enjoy and relax. Facilities: the 2F of the hotel have big public places and vending machines where travelers can eat, drink and do their own stuff at anytime.

Close to train station. Nice hot tub. Lots of eateries around. Shared bathroom was very clean.

Room was a little small. Hardly had space for my luggage. I was able to hear people taking showers after midnight as my room was opposite to the shower area.
