Venus Premier Hotel

The hotel that was situated in a great location - it was close to the market and not too far from the clock town. The room I stayed in was nice and clear, but I did have to pay extra to switch to the mountain view room. It was a little frustrating because the system showed the rate with that option, but overall, the room was comfortable. As for the breakfast, it wasn't bad at all - there were many choices for me to select from. The staff was also very helpful, although at times it did take them a little while to reply to my questions. However, my stay was great and exceeded my expectations.

A good breakfast. Good wifi. Rooms very clean and well serviced. I have various intolerances, and the chef was very helpful in advising me about what would work from the evening menu, and making some changes. When our accomodation at the end of a safari fell through, the hotel welcomed us back.

Orders for the evening meal were taken quickly, but it could take quite a long time for food to be served. There was plenty of hot water for showering in the morning, less so in the evening.

The hotel was everything we needed for our stay. It was situated in a central location with restaurants and markets within walking distance. There is a small gym with enough equipment in it to get you through your holiday work out. There is a restaurant which serves meals and has views over the buildings. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and has moderate selection of choices. My wife is gluten free and she was able to have fruit, yoghurt, freshly cooked eggs, juice and tea or coffee for breakfast.

Nothing, this hotel provided us with everything we needed for our stay. The only negative about this hotel which is not the hotels fault is out on the street when you leave the hotel there are quite a few tour providers which can be overwhelming but they are harmless.

We needed a doctor for our son while in Arusha and the staff was very helpful in making sure one came to our hotel room.

We had asked the hotel to arrange hotel transfer upon arrival to Arusha. However no one was waiting for us when we arrived. We found a way to call them and then they arranged a taxi for us very fast, but if you do the same - maybe remember to send them a reminder before you arrive 😊

Room was tidy, had everything we need. Restaurant was good. Stay was generally pleasant and felt good for the price. Staff was helpful and responsive in pre-visit chat, the drive arranged by the hotel went smooth.

Didn't get soap, enough towels and paper, had to ask for it. Shower took some time for the water to go down. Not recommended to walk in the streets unless needed. Crowded streets and doesn't feel too safe. Wifi was available only occasionally.

The Hotel is in the middle of Arusha, the streets outside are very busy and it is not a quiet area. the dinner was a simple affair and the breakfast was the same, 2 meals that sufficed and were enough to carry you through the day.

They have a nice bar set up in the dining area, if you want to have a cigarette you have to leave the area and go out onto a balcony away from the bar.

Great staff - very friendly and helpful. Gladnys was especially helpful in connecting me with the Travel Africa person, who had been elusive. Food was good, especially the Indian fare. Laundry was superfast and economical. Centrally located in Arusha. Mr Kalyan, the manager was super helpful and very attentive to us as guests.

Telephone was not working. Shower was a problem in the room I stayed.

The air conditioning worked well and wasn't noisy. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy. The location is well suited for walks around the town and local markets.

In today's world of electronic money on cards, I detest paying a surcharge percentage when paying the bill. Maybe this is a charge applied by the banks, but I still don't think it is fair.

Excellent location, and very clean!

Roof terrace not ready yet, but it will be wonderful when it is! The only critique I had was about the breakfast - a few more options would have been nice, but it’s only a minor complaint.

Clean, excellent facilities such as Wi-Fi connection, basic but good breakfast, very attentive porter and other staff

Very strong curry smell that spread over the hotel, good hotel but does not match with its location- which was noisy. Telephone numbers indicated on the phone were all wrong.
