Lub d Koh Samui Chaweng Beach - SHA Extra Plus

It's a very cool location, beautiful place, everything is updated, there are real stairs for the upper beds in the dorm rooms, the bathrooms are quite awesome including toiletries such as shower caps Rooms were quiet, had no issue with noise at night

Pricey - mostly everything is overpriced here, with most of the pool area constituting a bar area with everything more expensive than most restaurants around - a bottle of water at 40 baht is just ridiculous. If you stay here, it's definitely not going to be economical. It's all a huge rip off, they even charge your card before you arrive and charge you for your order at the restaurant the moment you made it and not after eating. Bit peculiar. Freezing rooms - the douvet is basically a towel, I woke up because of being cold many times during my night there. Noise - the premises are simply loud, this is not the place to relax, music is booming quite literally. Not a chill place.

I stayed in a shared dorm. Very clean, modern. Loved the individual wardrobe space they give you. Amazing common area, 2 pools, bar restaurant, access to the beach, games, lots of seats

The curtains to the bed only went halfway, so you were mostly visible to everyone else. There was music 24/7. At 9am they were playing pretty loud music. Sometimes I just wanted some quiet for a little bit.

Where do I start. You haven't stayed in Samui unless you stay at Lub D. Whether you are a solo traveller, in a group, couple, or even with your family. Lub D accommodates everyone! I stayed here twice, once in the hostel rooms with my cousin and again in the private rooms with my fiancé and both times I had just the most amazing experience! The vibe of this place is just perfect, all the staff are really lovel, especiallyy Joe & M on the bar. Everyone really makes you feel welcome and make sure you get stuck in with all the games they have to offer as you will get a chance to meet so many people here. I met loads of people both times that I actually ended up going to other islands with, so make sure you get stuck in a socialise!!!

A large majority of the bar staff are extremely slow and unhelpful!! you can be the only person waiting at the bar and they will does not serve you (there is some good stand for the majority need to go)

Really clean & the bathroom was lovely. Plenty of hot water in the showers. The beds were comfortable & had partial privacy curtains. The lockers in the room were great for keeping the space tidy & secure. There were also blackout curtains so if you had a late night and were sleeping in the next day, this wasn't an issue. You can buy alcohol from 7/11 & drink it in the premises. The pools are all great, the pool table, ping pong table & air hockey tables were very fun to play on too.

I had a top bunk and the curtain only covered the side on the bed and not the bottom. Felt a bit uncomfortable going to sleep with the person opposite being able to see me. To buy anything in the hostel was expensive. For example Big Water was 50, Small Chang was 90.

If you love to party, this hostel is perfect for you! Very sociable and partying atmosphere Right next to Chaweng beach and bars, restaurants and clubs. The staff were really helpful and fun. Good common and social areas available and nice pools! They also have a restaurant but I didn't go there. Everything you could want has been considered for the dorm space, even has mirrors next to your bed! The bathrooms were great too and I felt very comfortable here.

PERFECT location next door to ark bar right in the middle of everything right on the beach front. got everything you want and need. look no further than Lub D if you want to be right in the middle of everything. beds very comfy, would stay again.

if you’re after a quieter place to stay then not the place for you. nightlife on all night and can hear planes going over hotel. pool table needs a brand new cloth and new cue’s 🎱 was that old and worn that it wasn’t even worth playing on which was disappointing, can’t be that much for a new cloth and cues considering the amount of money they charge to stay? 😃

Excellent location, built on to the beach. Peaceful but also in the heart of Chaweng social area. Facilities are exceptional with two amazing outdoors pools, a swim up bar, pool tables etc. Great food and service with the staff being the best part of the experience. So helpful in organising transport and other questions about Koh Samui and Thailand.

N/A could not fault Lub D. Would highly recommend.

cute, spacious rooms with clean bathroom and nice balcony as well as a desk space to work if you need to. The Wifi was pretty good. The property is gorgeous, with a beautiful beach and pool area and lots of restaurants and cafés nearby. the staff were really kind and helpful and the cocktails were quite good. We would love to come back!

the rooms are not soundproof enough. You can hear the neighbors as well as party people coming home late. Better bring earplugs. We tried to call security at night when someone seemed to throw heavy stuff (or bang the walls), but no one picked up the phone. breakfast options could be a little bit better.

I really liked my stay. Great pool and direct beach access, excellent food options at the bar. Highly recommendable also for connecting with fellow travelers.

The price is above average but worth it. The beds in our private room could have been more comfortable. Construction area next to the hotel waking you up in the morning.
