The hotel was very beautiful, confortable and very clean. It was 3 min away from the beach and in a very animated street with alot of markets, coffees and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing (consistent and delicious). The owners (Jen and her husband) were very kind and helpful. They helped us alot during our stay. We felt like we were at home with Jen taking care of us like we were her children. She even prepared a cake for us to celebrate our freind birthday! Thank you very much Jen for everything you did for us. We definitely would stay at merih butik again when we go back to bodrum!

Literally nothing!

The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Jennifer was happy to help with anything we needed such as restaurant recommendations, extra laundry and lending us beach towels. We arrived later than planned on the first day, and the staff were ready to meet us and get us settled into our room straight away. The room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and fresh towels whenever we needed. Breakfast everyday was delicious and all freshly prepared. We needed to leave earlier on the last day to catch the ferry and Jennifer kindly made breakfast earlier for us. The main area of the hotel was beautiful with lots of comfy seating and shade from the tree. We enjoyed sitting here with a beer some nights. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was a 3 minute walk to the sea and a 5 - 10 minute walk to the main strip and markets. There were lots of local shops, bars and restaurants nearby that offered cheaper prices than on the waterfront. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I visit Bodrum again I will be back here!

The walls were quite thin so we could hear the room next to us clearly.

It is a charming place with attention to details. It really feels like you are at home. The hospitality of the owners is unforgettable. They are very kind and caring people and really help you with everything you might need to make your stay truly comfortable. We were celebrating the birthday of one of our family members and they made us a very nice surprise - prepared the birthday cake (which was delicious, believe me). I have never faced with such a treatment before! The public beach is very close, you need most probably less than 2 minutes walking distance. For those who prefer to travel around with a car and not to stay too much at the same place this is also a great choice - it is very central. Plus you have the parking. Highly recommended!

Lovely breakfast, great location to explore Bodrum, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We visited in November so the hotel and surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful (I imagine in Summer it is mental busy). There are lots of lovely cats all around. The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

Nothing! It was great :) Maybe a little note in the rooms to say you can top up your water bottle in the kitchen.

Jen, the owner, is absolutely amazing! She approached us in the first place when I booked my stay in Merih. She also assisted me when I was about to reach the property and I’m so thankful for that. When we arrived, Jen offered us a hot tea as a welcome drink while we were enjoying our time unpacked the luggage. It was a small yet really comfy room. Makes you feel like home. The bed is second to none when it comes to softness. We slept like a baby. One more thing, as we need to catch our ferry to Datca early in the morning then Jen kindly prepared a breakfast for us. We were so blessed for having such an incredible host. If you stay at Merih, please try to eat at the restaurant next door. Ibrahim as the owner and main chef will serve you with the sincerest smile you’ve ever seen.

The room is a bit small for people who bring 2 medium suitcases, but not a big issue for us tho.

I chose Merih with few expectations but they exceeded them, hence this long review to share in all fairness my experience. As a frequent traveller (been to many countries across 3 continents this year alone so far), I feel obliged to share what is to me, the most hospitable stay of quite some time. I was overwhelmed with the level of care and attentiveness I received from Jen especially and Tahir and the staff but amso the friends of Merih. As a solo female traveler in the hotel, I was made to feel at home and truly cared for... first day I went out for lunch I fell into a tourist trap and ever since decided to blindly trust my hosts and was never once disappointed.. Truly everything was arranged for me, boat trip with a nice company (I went twice), taxis to go around the peninsula to enjoy sunset and dinner in the fancy side, recommendations to the best food spots in town, sometimes with a reduction/discount even...my friends were staying at Manzara hotel but Jen was the one supporting them with airport transfers, PCR and taxis.. all with a constant smile! The room: my room was nice size wise and very clean (I have allergies to mites and dust among others so trust me: the room is spotless clean and cleaning /laundry products used are not irritating) , bed and pillows were very comfortable as the room is on the quiet side as I had asked, I could enjoy great rest. Besides, amenities included everything one could need plus it had perfect AC, Bodrum is super hot and sun hits hard, so the great silent AC is definitely a must have. The breakfast: I stayed 10 days and everyday would charge up on Jen's breakfast, a rich and perfectly balanced meal with fresh ingredients and some days would include surprises such as home made pancakes, shakshuka etc.. What I loved was that my food allergies were accommodated and Jen even got me some infusion as I don't drink tea or coffee.

The boutique hotel is a charmer in a lovely setting in the center of town. Having breakfast under the mulberry tree with a light breeze was an exquisite experience to start the day. The room was cozy and clean with a small balcony facing the back to hang my wash in the sun. It was very meditative for me. The staff, led by Jen, are very lovely and I felt the genuine love put into the service and accommodations. Jen provided tons of wonderful recommendations on activities and restaurants. I also was well-taken care of going to the next destination by Jen and Tahir.

We were super happy to have chosen Merih Hotel for our week vacation in Bodrum. Jen and Umut, who run the hotel, were both super friendly and attentive to every detail and every need of ours. Even before arriving we were continously chatting about every question we had about Bodrum and even arranged our transfer since we were arriving late at night and made sure to accomodate us properly and feel welcomed. They would care daily about every detail of our trip, being the best local guide you can get, with the best suggestions on what to visit and helping arrange our plans and support with local activities. The room is super clean, comfortable and equipped with everything needed. The delicious turkish breakfast is served at a very cute yard next to their small open kitchen, being very attentive to requests and even cooking a special breakfast for us on our last day. Location is perfect, 2 minutes walk from the beach, right on the main street full of cafes and dining options, close by you find several supermarkets, pharmacies and shops. In 15 minutes walk you can reach the Bodrum Castle and Marina, perfect to spend evenings, and its only 10 minutes also from the main bus station where you can easily get the minibus or taxi to basically everywhere in Bodrum. It was a luxurious stay while the warmth and welcoming was beyond expectations, felt like being hosted by friends, had the best experience. Highly recommended if you are visiting Bodrum, would never consider any other place if coming back.

There is nothing we did not like. Everything was perfect.

Merih is a lovely little hotel with extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly staff. Super-tasty breakfasts consisting of fresh bread, condiments, selection of cheese and eggs cooked to your liking. Delicious! Located less than 2 minutes away from a beach provides you with everything you need within a very short walking distance. Shops, cafes, bars, beach, bakery, Internet cafe - everything in less than a 5 minute walk.

It would be nice to have a little bedside lamp in the room, but I wouldn't call the lack of it a disadvantage.

Best central location, restaurants, beach, bars and market all on short walking distance. Merih, the host is the best lady, extremely friendly, always ready to help… she prepared fresh breakfast every morning we felt like at home. The town was quiet but weather was warm this time and we were able to swim on the beach.

Nothing, just a kitchen is little worn out and has strange odour but if you are not cooking that is not a problem.
