Symbola Oludeniz Beach Hotel

Beautiful room, beautiful balcony, good distance to the beach, very friendly, helpful and humorous staff. Quiet atmosphere in the hotel.

We have not informed ourselves sufficiently about Ölüdeniz beforehand. The landscape is very beautiful, but the place is a tourist horror in summer. Even on the hotel's balcony we could hear the music and animations of ships on the sea and other hotels in the village.

Great location! Very secluded pretty hotel set on a hillside with views across to Oludeniz. Very close to beach & main strip but away from the lazer lights & noise of the bars. Staff very welcoming. Food great! Pool very clean & open 24 hours a day. We enjoyed our week so much that we extended our stay another week....booking directly with hotel!

Nothing. Perfect hotel.

The location is nice, the breakfast is delicious, the staff is helpful. And the overall hotel houses look really cute with their colorful lights. The room was a bit dark, but that didn't bother us.

The wifi connection was barely existing in our room, and though the staff offered as a router to plug inside our room, it didn't help at all. because it couldn't connect to the main one. The sheets on the bed smelled like cigarets, thoguh we were in a non-smoking room. I assume they wash all the bedding linens together and redistribute them randomly, hence we got one that smelled like someone smoked on it, which wasn't cool.

Whole experience overall was amazing! Crew and staff were unbelievably pleasant and willing to help. Facilities are super nice and there is restaurant in the area which is amazing.

Cleaning service wasn't exactly excellent, coffee and sugar wasn't replenished after being used, we had to improvise :D. Noticed also some dust in certain parts of the accommodation after allegedly being cleaned, but again, it wasn't a big issue rather note for improvement.

Stayed here for 2 nights in bungalo. The hotel is sutiated on the steer slope of the mountain, so you should be ready to go up and down the stairs every time - this was not a problem for us, but may become an obstacle for somebody. We stayed in the upper bungalo which is 90 steps above the ground but offers you the stunning view over the sea and sunset. The bungalo is quite comfortable (except for one non-critical problem described below), the balcony is a great place for relaxation with its whirlpool bath. Staff is friendly and supportive. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but qiute sufficient. Location is good: beach is in 3-5 min of walking distance, so is the central part of the town.

Our only complaint is lack of light in the bungalo. There is no lamp on the ceiling and the whole room is quite dark in the evening. Of course, there are some small lamps on the walls and in the bathroom, but this is definitely not enough for comfortable living.

Symbola is a wonderful hotel, beautifully built on the side of the hill. We stayed there for a week in December/January and had absolutely amazing time. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and by the end of our stay we felt like we were part of their family. We also attended Symbola’s New Year’s party - it was a lot of fun and we got to dance to tradition Turkish music:) The views from the hotel are breathtaking- it was wonderful to enjoy our morning coffee while overlooking the sea. The sunset from the little veranda was the best ever:) Overall, amazing place with fantastic views, tasty food and unforgettable people.

Leaving a tip is complicated as you need to put cash into tip boxes separately for waiting staff, reception staff, cleaners, cooks etc - it gets unnecessarily complicated and also means you need to have plenty of cash on you all the time as card tips don’t work

The resident friendly cat adds a delightful touch to the whole experience.

The hotel's charm comes with a bit of a challenge - an abundance of stairs that may be inconvenient for those with mobility issues. The breakfast menu, though well-prepared, could benefit from more variety. Lastly, the stroll to the beach involves navigating a bustling road without a sidewalk, which might not be ideal for everyone.

The location was really great. The hotel is located a little bit away from the loud city center, on a hill, so it helps with the noise from activities in the center. In my opinion, this fact makes this hotel exceptional. However, for relatives with bad knees, it's not a great option due to the many steps. Beautiful plants, pink flowers, and birds. My family had a few different rooms, so I can say that those with balconies are located higher and have more light (and also the best view, but still more steps). The hotel is close to the beach. The sea is perfectly clean with amazing crystal blue water. Great staff, who speak multiple languages. Love this place.

The breakfast was rather modest. The coffee also wasn't great. However, I did enjoy the custom-made fresh omelette and watermelon.

I chose this hotel to be able to walk to Kidrak beach (about 30 min walking), Oludeniz beach (5 min), and Blue Lagoon (15 min). Symbola hotel has a lovely vibe, located on a slope of the mountain, with colorful lanterns that look pretty at night. The breakfast, included in the price, was very good. And having it on the terrace with the sea view was relaxing. I was staying in two different rooms : bungalow 122 and stone room 109, end of Oct - beginning of November 2023. Bungalow has a lovely balcony with jacuzzi. Trying it at night under the stars with pines around was a beautiful experience. Bungalow 122 is located over the hotel restaurant with a glass roof, it gave me a chance to watch live musicians working there from the top :) The tricky part for me was the acoustics. In bungalow you can hear all the sounds coming from the village way to well. So trying to sleep early was tricky due to live music and discos around. I also found bungalow quite dark inside at night, there was not sufficient light to read in the room. Stone room 109 was also lovely, with a quite big balcony and yet more beautiful view. There was enough light to read and wifi seemed to be working better than in the bungalow. In the stone room you feel presence of other guests more than in a bungalow. The stuff was friendly and helpful. Left me feel very happy with their assistance.

Insufficient reading light in the bungalow. It can be quite noise in the neighborhood at night. Parties used to stop around midnight - 1 am (November).

Fantastic location on the edge of Oludeniz. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach or into the centre of the resort but away from the noise and lights. Beautiful views from the terrace and a really good breakfast buffet, with omelette cooked to order. The evening buffet was also very good and I'd consider half board if I went again. Very friendly and happy staff.

The WiFi was a bit temperamental at times but that's a very minor criticism. Overall we loved this hotel.
