The Breadalbane Arms Room Only Hotel

The room was comfortable as was the bed. I actually liked that the window faced on to the street in Aberfeldy, as it was pleasant to see the town.

Unfortunately the walls of the room seem quite thin as we could here someone in the room next to us snoring very loudly. We could not sleep so well as a result. Nice to if the bar at the hotel were open as it looked very comfortable!

The Breadalbane may be a two star hotel, but the staff service was five star! Helpful, kind, generous of spirit. Upon checking in, Natasha showed me the local healthy grocers, Zo-Ann arranged for me to go riding and arranged taxis for my multiple trips. I was even greeted on the street by staff on their time off. , The cherry on the cake: I was asked if I needed help with my formal outfit after an evening outing. The owner is wonderful and encourages his staff to go the extra mile. Ivan carried my heavy luggage up two flights of stairs as well as back down upon leaving. His wife, Natalie made sure I had the right towels and blankets. The taxi driver Davey arrived early and loaded my bags. Zoe-Ann made certain I had a ride to the train station the night before. This was my first time staying at a two star hotel. Do not be afraid. It is clean. The atmosphere is kind and helpful. Yes, it is a plain room- bed, bath,wifi, and tea kettle,but the service outweighs the lack of decor. The location is super. Everything is close by for walking within the village. If you are going to other villages, you will need transportation. My stay was made all the better with such amazing people as the staff at the Breadalbane.

Instructions on a placard that reads: "Remember to tip your staff upon checking out. We can add it to your bill."

Shower had no pressure and heating was fiddly. Outlets were also a bit dodgy in set up

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. Bathroom clean and good quality. Clean towels and bedding. Location very central. Tea/coffee making facilities. Good Freeview TV was a bonus, I hadn't realised I would have. Good value for a single person.

Bedroom walls were dusty

All my responses are taking account of the very reasonable price for this no- frills place. The room was small as was the shower, but the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and although I stayed on Saturday night and my room fronted onto the main square there was no audible street noise.

There was nothing any reasonable person could dislike at this price.

I was greeted by a lovely host who was very knowledgeable of the area and dining choices. She helped me with a problem and solved it straight away and I was very grateful. My room was very clean and tidy with everything I needed for a comfortable nights sleep. I wish I could have stayed an extra night. Great value, handy and a very nice village. Thankyou. Highly recommended.

The room was sufficient for what I required. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean. Tea,coffee and milk was provided in the room and was replenished There was an issue with the TV in my room, however this was taken care of immediately. Staff were friendly and could not have made me and my dog more welcome

A nice, simple hotel. On checking in with a toddler, the helpful receptionist kindly arranged for us to have a bigger room more suited to our needs. The hotel isn't fancy, but we enjoyed our stay. Its bang in the middle of town, right next to all the usual amenities.

There was no breakfast or bar service - although to be fair this was explained on their listing on advance so we knew what to expect.

The room was clean, newly decorated, hot shower or bath. Friendly staff, who stored my cycle securely overnight. Tea coffee, small TV and right in the centre of Aberfeldy. Good value if you only need a room Recommended

The hotel is a bit tired and is just rooms only (it does say this on the web). The hotel for checking in is only between 15.00 & 21.00 as in between those times there are no staff on site.

Very clean

The exterior of the building needed upgrading/painted. I am concerned that I was able to make the mistake of booking the same 3 rooms TWICE! I thought it hadn’t gone through as it was not showing up in my booking.com account. Can I please get a refund as I have paid twice??? Catherine Bolton
