Great location close to everything lovely friendly helpful staff nice room comfortable bed enjoyed our stay🙂 parking outside of the hotel so didn't need to worry about to park although it was on a first come first serve basis there was empty spaces

My fiancee wanted to order the chocolate waffle it said on the description it came with ice-cream but when he was about to order it the lady said they didn't have any ice-cream which was disappointing but not to much of an issue we had a full English instead bathroom was slightly on the small side especially the shower but we made it work window sill could have done with a wipe but overall was a great stay

Our bathroom was a separate room a cross the hall which we did not initially discover. This was a bit shocking at the time but once we found it it was fine.

We had an enquiry about car parking when we arrived as there was not space, but the response was extremely disappointing and unhelpful. We had to search for a space in 24 hour car parks, but had no idea where they may be. The first we saw wanted £24 overnight. They ought to have a little sheet of paper to pick up in the hall or email before arrival to show where the car parks are and how much they cost. My wife was very upset by the person she talked to on the phone.

I chose it because we stayed 2 years ago and it's very well located and very comfortable. As last time, I stayed with my daughter and we both really enjoyed our stay although next time, we'll remember to ask for a ground floor room as she's disabled and our room was up 2 flights of stairs. However, overall, we found the room spacious and well equipped with a good, informative welcome folder. The chocolate truffles on the refreshments tray in the bedroom are an extra special touch together with the chocolate chip cookies. There's plenty of choices for breakfast, and the beautifully decorated chocolate pancake is a delight!

I had an absolutely delightful experience during my stay at the Chocolate Box Hotel. The breakfast was delicious - prepared with love and care. The room itself was cozy and inviting, equipped with all the necessary amenities. One feature that particularly impressed me was the special window filter, allowing me to keep the curtains open without worrying about my privacy. It was a small but thoughtful touch that added to my overall comfort. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. They were always ready to lend a hand, whether it was providing directions or assisting with storing my suitcase. Gerry is an absolute star: welcoming and friendly, he made me instantly feel at home. We spent some time chatting and he shared with me the incredible story of the hotel. Adding an extra layer of charm to my stay. The location of the hotel couldn't have been more ideal. Being just a short 5/10-minute walk away from Bournemouth beach was an absolute treat. I had the luxury of enjoying the sun, sand, and sea whenever I pleased, without any hassle or long journeys. It truly enhanced the overall experience, allowing me to make the most of my time there. I recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable and unforgettable experience in Bournemouth.

Well situated to access easily the BIC, Pavilion & the town. Clearly some TLC has been put into the hotel & a chocolate box theme throughout. Room (1) was really nice. On par with premier inn, if not better, more personal. Communication with Gerry was first class & he knows how to cook the best breakfast. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you.

I was a solo traveller & there is always a small underlying thought that you’re on your own. However, I felt very safe, relaxed. There isn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. Well done Team.

Location is fab - a short walk to the BIC and seafront. Breakfast was lovely & staff were very attentive. Room and bed was large, clean & comfortable with lots of information available on places to visit, eat, etc. Also, as it was my wife's birthday I paid for the bottle of bubbly & chocolate dipped strawberries which were well received :o)

Car parking is tight but fortunately we were early arrivals so had no issues. Our room was #2, ground floor and opposite front door/ reception - the walls aren't the thickest so could hear other guests coming/ going which likewise meant they could probably hear us too! It's an old building so not much can be done to resolve but worth noting if a light sleeper.

Theme throughout this boutique hotel was very good but was not overdone and friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble to make your stay enjoyable. This is definitely a hotel with a lot of work behind the scenes to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. It was a very pleasant breakfast room and choice of breakfast was from full English to cereals and also chocolate waffles. Parking is outside. Was very close to beach, pier, town and amenities with a few restaurants within a few minutes walk, without having to go to the town centre. Bus stops in both directions 1 minute walk away. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again. Thank you.

There is a hill although only 5 minutes from hotel to amenities and town, if you have any disability stay in the center. For the average walker not at all a problem.

Everything! The hotel itself was clean & comfortable, the staff were friendly & helpful, the location was just off center & within minutes walk of everything! Not only was the hotel beautiful, clean and comfortable; apart from those coming in the front door (as we were the first room right by the front door), you couldn't hear anything front any of the other rooms or stairs etc!

The fact people would let the front door slam each time they went in and out, as we were in the first room it was disturbing late at night.

Great location, everything was within walking distance, beach, town centre, shops and restaurants

The cleanliness of the house left a little to be desired....the microwave was dirty, sofa was dirty and the carpet was really badly stained. The vacuum provided did not work very well....bed sheets were clean but pillows and duvets were dirty....the standard of cleaning could have been a whole lot better for the price we paid.

We booked two rooms for two nights. We had a double room (room 4) and a deluxe room (room 5). Both rooms had an ensuite, in room 5 the shower was bigger which was better for me as I am on the larger side, two bath towels, two hair towels and a hand towel. The bath towels were large as I could wrap mine around me. Each bathroom has complimentary toiletries, but we didn’t use them as we had our own with us. Room 4 had a dressing table with a mirror, full length mirror behind the door, tv, bed side tables and hanging space. Room 5 had a king size bed, bed side tables, chest of drawers, double wardrobe with mirrored doors and a sofa bed. Both rooms had an aircon unit and hairdryer. We didn’t use the hairdryer but the aircon units came in really handy as the weather was hot. The unit in room 5 is superior and got the room cold within minutes. The rooms are a little tired but clean and comfortable. Room 4 overlooks the garden and was quiet. Room 5 is on the front of the building and the road is a busy road. Despite the double glazing you can still hear the traffic. On our first night, Saturday, it was busy throughout the night and early hours of the morning but on the Sunday night it was quiet until 6am the next day. It did not bother me as I live next to a busy road but I can appreciate that this would not be acceptable for some customers. If the hotel could fit secondary glazing in the rooms on the front it would help. Parking is tight but we manage to get a space during our stay. You are requested to move your car upon checking out and there is a large NCP at the bottom of the road or if you turn right out of the hotel there is a smaller public car park but it fills up fast. We did not book breakfast when were reserved our rooms, but we did have breakfast on both mornings. It is £10 per person, and you get continental, cereals, fresh juices, tea or coffee and a hot option.
