The rooms are spacious, airy and have lovely views of the surrounding fields. Having a desk in the room helps with getting some work done whilst having all the comforts of a microwave, fridge and coffee making facilities. Tony and Jane are fantastic hosts and really make staying here a joy. Great value for money and without a doubt my place to stay when in Bridgend. A really wonderful Welsh welcome. oh, and I highly recommend the breakfast too, thats cooked fresh to order.

it is off the beaten track, but with a car everything is only a few minutes away. And there's ample parking on site.

Small and quiet, the owners were lovely and knew us by name, were very thoughtful and amendable especially with our toddler, who made her a little breakfast she would eat, The breakfast although extra was very readable priced and very nice. The rooms were ample sized, everything was spotless and the beds very comfortable. We plan to visit family again soon and will be booking again.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a few nights away. We would definitely stay here again, it's great value and perfect for visiting visiting Cardiff city centre.

We were slightly disappointed that our room only had a shower, but other than that our stay was excellent. As someone with disabilities I would gently suggest that you make your needs known in advance as the hotel may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

The breakfast was really good, also offered vegetarian, there was a choice of Welsh breakfast or continental. Room and bathroom bigger than I thought, with tea/coffee facilities, microwave, small fridge and a TV. The guesthouse is in lovely grounds.

I don't think anything could have been done better. The proprietor and his team were very helpful and friendly, it is a small guesthouse which makes it more personal. I will definitely rebook for my next visit to Wales.

Staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was very good. The room was good and the addition of a fridge and microwave was very welcome.

From the description of the property, i have envisaged being able to walk along the river within the bounds of the property. This was not the case, which was disappointing but access is just across the road.

The welcome was genuine and friendly and facilities were much better than we expected. A lovely hot cooked breakfast served on hot plates which we didn't mind paying extra for. The room was clean and spacious with everything you could need. Microwave trouser press, fridge, plenty of tea and coffee with a iced water bispencer just outside the room and ironing facilities lf you needed it.

Can't think of anything that would improve the stay.

Booked due to visiting family in Bridgend, location near to it and tucked away nicely from the hustle and bustle. Quiet, comfortable, had everything that was needed plus more little extras that were great, plenty of tea and coffee in the room,a water dispenser in the hall to fill bottles etc, fab place to stay. Payed for a breakfast the sunday and it was lovely. Plenty of variety and well made. Highly recommended

To be honest nothing. Would defo book again and recommend

Lovely b&b run by lovely people. You can order a 'one of everything' breakfast for £7 daily, which is great value. The twin room was comfortable and spacious for me and a friend. The cold water dispenser just outside the room was welcome. Nice communal sitting room to read and relax. 5 minute taxi from Bridgend station very conveniently near.

The only thing I would improve is a slightly meatier sausage with the breakfast, but that may be just a personal choice.

The location was good, just a 20 min walk to the train station. Lots of parking, bed was comfy and the rooms where nice and big, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were always pleasant and took the time to learn are names which was really nice. We stayed here to watch the Rugby and will be staying again!

The property is close a train line so you cannot have the widows open at night otherwise the train would wake you up. The property is also a little dated but is nice and clean so we didn’t find that a big issue.
