Great hotel, clean, good standards. I'm very picky with cleanliness and hotels and I've stayed here a couple of times now.

The only minor is that there's no power or hdmi extension near the TV. If you've got a long hdmi cable you'll be OK.

We stayed at the nearby South Cliff Caravan Site for a family remembrance weekend for 18 people and ate at the Lobster Pot on Saturday evening. I had stayed here before and recommended to the family for a meal- Excellent meal and service and my wife and I stopped on for two nights at the Lobster Pot after the weekend. The accommodation block is modern and clean being close to the pub for breakfast and evening meals. Special mention for Jay the deputy manager - I had pre ordered menus and there were a couple of meals became unavailable a few days before - Email correspondence sorted that out with no issues - Jay made a special point of checking that everything was to our satisfaction on the night. Excellent breakfasts. All in all a great family meal followed by a relaxing two night stay.

Due to staffing shortages the restaurant was not open on the two evenings of our stay. Staff at the pub rang us to forewarn us whilst we were out and we had our evening meal before we returned for the night. There is nowhere close by to eat so those phone calls were much appreciated and this didn't spoil our stay.

When we arrived we were half an hour early so could not check in until the allotted time of two pm, which was fine. We ordered a two flat white coffees as we waited to be checked in, to be told the coffee machine had broken down. We then ordered two instant coffees and were given to us on the house due to the coffee machine not working. I thought this was a really nice jester from the staff behind the bar. I was very grateful as I was in need of a coffee at that moment. I would also like to apologise on my friends behalf as I thought her attitude towards the two lovely young girls behind the bar was rude when told they did not serve green tea. My friend immediately informed me she would not be booking breakfast the following morning. I commend your staff for remaining professional. I personally was very pleased with our stay at the lobster pot and would have no hesitation in recommending or staying again. I would have liked to sample the breakfast menu , but unfortunately I was not able to do on this occasion.

I have no criticism as I thought the lobster pot was a great place to stay.walking distance into the centre. Beds comfortable, having a choice of bath,/ shower.

All fabulous apart from the TV was bad, remote did what it wanted and most of the channels were not available, after a long day just wanted to watch a bit of tv

The room was big, had generous tea coffee and biscuits which were replenished everyday, bathroom was nice the shower brilliant and nice big fluffy towels. Toilet paper was good quality and plenty provided. The bed is one of the best I've stayed in as were the pillows, 2 each and both very high quality, staff helpful and supplied and iron and board when asked, what else can I add.....we will definitely be staying in this hotel again and will recommend others to do so. We have stayed in many hotels private run and big chains, we have stayed in a marston Inn in Hull which was OK.....this one in bridlington was one of the best we have stayed in.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. However, for me the wifi cut out within about 30 seconds of connecting and I never managed to make my phone connect again. It worked fine for my mum though. I didn't try to get this resolved - the staff were really helpful and friendly, so I'm sure they'd have looked into it for me if I'd asked.

It was unusually cold during our stay and the aircon struggled to get the room up to a comfortable temperature - but the bedding was lovely and warm, and the room did get warmed up eventually. I think it had just been well aired, which is a very good thing. Also almost fell out of the bed, I'm used to a single bed, but a two foot six bed is hard to roll over in.

The room was good. The place itself looked fabulous. The bar had a nice welcoming ambience.

The basin in the bathroom was too close to the loo. It made getting into place rather difficult. My husband is 6ft tall and couldn't sit comfortably during our stay. Also, though the room looked clean, there was a build-up of detritus down the side of the mirrored unit. We ordered an evening meal through the restaurant and it arrived rather luke warm, but the server did warm it up for us. The building site at the back of the property, which our window looked out onto was noisy, and kicked in from 7.00 am. Finally, the gates into the Lobster Pot beer garden need addressing. They are fine for push chairs, but not wheelchairs. Mine couldn't fit through.

The pillows were so soft and what a comfy bed!! Also, having the restaurant just across the car park from Hotel was a godsend. Really nice stay there and will be back.

I have to give praise to staff at the restaurant esp the lovely young lady who served us on Sunday morning. She was on her own. She was run ragged but coped magnificently. Also certain staff on Saturday evening, were amazing, as again, short staffed. The hotel was slightly further away from the seafront than we anticipated, so decided we would have evening meal in Restaurant.... Gorgeous food.

Liked that the rooms where just across the car park from the pub so you could have a meal on a night . Was looking forward to having a few drinks and not having to drive but drinks were so expensive . I've paid less in a hotel. So after evening meal and one drink we decided to go drive to another pub and I volunteered to drive and have no alcohol. There was another couple at the next table who heard my partner say my god do you know how much them drinks have just cost, and they said I've just said the same so we are not staying for another drink. So you must be loosing custom .

The price of the drinks in the bar and top of mugs in room where all chipped

The location was handy for our visit and eady to find The staff were helpful but overworked not enough of them but they coped really well The menu had a good selection and reasonably priced Even though there were staff shortages because of illness we were not kept waiting for to long to be served

Car park icy and not safe to walk over, should have been made safe We were charged for filtered coffee but because the machine was broken had to make do with instant The key card failed to open the outside door a couple of times and the bedroom door several times which meant we had to walk across the car park to the main building to reactivate it The tv didn't have a good selection of channels especially early morning and no signal

Well situated on the outskirts of Bridlington. Nice modern pub with some great beers and ciders on tap. Friendly and helpful staff. The food we had was very nice. We had evening meal and breakfast. Our room was a good size on ground floor. Nice and warm. Good size TV with a range of channels. Bathroom had all the necessary fittings. Great shower with plenty of hot water. We would definitely stay at the Lobster Pot again.

Made a specific request for double beds in rooms but were given twins. Staff in bar/restaurant were over worked which reflected on service which was very slow at times. Three of our meal choices from the menu were unavailable and had to be changed. No drinking water in rooms. We were charged £1.60 for a small bottle from the bar.
