Staff were lovely...service at both breakfast and in the evening they were attentive and well trained. Food was so good we decided to eat in the evening there twice during our stay. Room was spacious. Shower powerful. There was everything you could need in room. Loved the decor. Area was nice for travelling to the places we wished to visit

Pillows too hard...shame as bed was so comfy. Windows need some kind of glazing as road is noisy...glad it wasnt summer as would have been impossible to hear tv above road. Suffered from a neighbours loud tv until 2am one night, obviously a bit beyond their control that one unless tv can be limited in volume. Needs a non slip mat in bath. Doors to rooms closed very noisily.

Our room was lovely. Very nicely decorated, very comfortable and with a great bathroom. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and served by a really friendly waiter.

We stayed here last year and had a lovely meal in the restaurant. This year, we invited friends to join us to eat. What a disappointment! The food was generally tasty, but almost all of it was over-cooked and dry. What a shame! Also, we were warned at the outset by our waitress that some items on the menu were either out of stock or in low supply. This proved to be the case for the choices we made, including a bottle of wine which we would have particularly liked !

I had an amazing stay and would 100% return and recommend. The team make this hotel and everyone was faultless, but a particular shout out to Jacob. I was travelling with my guide dog and little touches like dog bowls in the room made such a difference. I don’t know the housekeeper’s name, but I thought her asking what I wanted done in my room so that she didn’t disturb where I’d put my things was especially considerate. Rooms were a good temperature (even at -7C outside), with tea/coffee/hot choc/biscuits provided. The shower was hot and a decent pressure too. I had a full cooked breakfast every morning and all were delicious and good quality. It was so wonderful not to have a greasy breakfast too and I’d love to be able to get my fried eggs as good as the Eaton Oaks! Thank you for a great stay and the Eaton Oak will be my first choice next time I’m up in St Neots!!!

The bed was a little hard and I couldn’t quite get the pillows right, but let’s face it, pillows are such a personal thing. I slept and that’s always a positive!

The location was ideal for us as we were at a function at the golf club which was less than 5 mins walk away . The bedroom was lovely and warm which makes a change from walking into an ice box in the middle of winter because the staff think it’s ok to turn up the Air con. Natasha in the restaurant was fabulous. She was friendly and engaging and also very helpful. She was given a hard time unnecessarily for something that happened which wasn’t her fault but she carried on smiling.

The breakfast was mediocre.,sloppy fried eggs, the scrambled eggs were overdone, everything seemed to be done on the cheap.

Breakfasts were good and we tried several

Cleanliness was good, but more attention to detail required to be exceptional - for example behind the net curtains there was black mould on the window frames, and the lampshades and painted part behind the bed were rather dusty. This would only take a minute to put right, though the window frames need an old toothbrush and would take quite a while. it would not need to be done every time the room was cleaned, however

The property was clean and comfortable, the room had almost everything you could need. The pub and eating areas were very nice and modern, it has been refurbished since the last time I stayed there. The breakfast was very good with an excellent choice.

There was nothing I didn’t like, although I do like to have an iron and ironing board in the room.

Excellent menu for the evening meal. Very well presented. Location great. Rooms on ground floor were excellent for someone like my husband who finds steps difficult. Wet room facility was also excellent.

The choices for breakfast were great but I would have scored higher marks if there had been a selection of artisan breads for toasting instead of just sliced white. Many people might be quite happy with a fruit compote plus cereal followed by toast for their breakfast. Also due to the hight standard of food it would have ben great to have home made jam and marmalade on offer. Choice of music in the bar and restaurant. Too loud and not very appropriate. Inspite of our age we are not frumpy people and have a very large collection of music, vinyl and CD's.

I stayed here for one night and was extremely impressed at the friendliness of the staff, quality of food and the quality of the rooms. This is absolutely not a typical "pub with rooms", and honestly exceeds some chain hotels. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was exceptional with a rainfall shower. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was outstanding. I can thoroughly recommend the Eaton Oak and will definitely default to staying there again when I need to stay in the area.

The pillows in the room were a little firm for my liking but that's a personal preference. The rooms aren't air-conditioned which didn't surprise me but a fan was provided which mitigated against the heat.

Excellent breakfast-Good Service-Everything in the the room anyone could need and a large bathroom. Next time we will eat Luch here on arrival.

I didnt like the £20-Charge for early book in--I didnt see any cost when I booked and our arrival time meant that we were arriving only half an hour prior to normal book in time--we could have had a drink in the bar and saved money-!! I checked my e-mails and there was no mention of an additional charge.

The staff are very friendly but professional. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The location is perfect for us as we have friends in Eaton Socon. The beer garden is lovely and the breakfast was superb. All the rooms are on the ground floor.

I found the menu was not suitable for a lunch meal more apt for an evening meal. No sandwiches or wraps and a poor choice for vegetarians and vegans. I would have liked a fridge in the room.
