What a lovely B&B. Everything from the welcome to the breakfast were excellent. Met with such warmth the owners were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were such a treat to use from the luxurious bathroom to the lovely wee living room to the very comfortable bedroom. Everything is well presented with a personal touch. The breakfast was delicious. A special mention for the home-made elements such as the bread and jams...the orange and kumquat jam- if you ever decide to sell jars let me know, I will be first in line, it was fantastic! Would recommend this wee hidden gem to anyone. Remembering it's not in town, it's offering such a peaceful and tranquil setting. Will certainly come back!

Nothing.

The accommodation was really lovely. Great attention to detail. Lawrence and Mike had thought of so many things to make the stay special. I had expected an ensuite bedroom only, but to have a lounge, sunroom, and separate bathroom was lovely. The breakfast with home made yoghurt, bread, jam and fruit was superb, especially to sit looking out over the lovely Aberdeenshire countryside.

I wish I had had more time to spend in the accommodation - I was on a bit of a time schedule.

This was a late booking for us so we were really happy to find such a lovely place. Lots of love and care has been put in to decorating the rooms, with real, antique furniture. The fireplace warmed the rooms a treat, bed was super comfortable and the bath was big enough to stretch out in. This would have to be one of the nicest places I have stayed. From the views to the home-made food, and wonderful host to boot. Would highly recommend anyone visiting this area to stay here.

Everything was great.

This is such a magical place..I slept so well I haven't in years. You forget how quiet it can be when you leave the city and busy life. You don't get just your bedroom, you actually get three rooms and a terrace! There is so much attention to detail in everything, I was blown away. I was in the area for work and I really wish I could have stayed longer. Do not hesitate to book this place, it is wonderful.

The only complaint I have is that the eggs (provided by the neighbours' chickens) were so fresh that I was struggling to peel my boiled breakfast egg. As you can see it's not a real complaint - this place is perfect.

The rooms are beautiful, quaint and have everything you need. The bed and pillows were super comfy. I was greeted by a roaring fire and a friendly welcome. The whole place just has small touches which make it nicer. A pot of real coffee in a cafetiere for breakfast, sugar lumps etc

Wifi isn't great but thats due to thick, old cottag walls and no tv in bedroom, but it really didnt matter in such a beautiful setting. There is a sitting room with a tv if you so desire it.

Just perfect. Lovely peaceful location. We had a sitting room, conservatory, bathroom and bedroom all to ourselves. The house has been beautifully restored and was very comfortable. The log fire was lit for our arrival and for us to come back to after a wet and chilly day which was very welcome. Breakfast was excellent.Laurence and Mike were friendly and considerate and the stay was exceptional value

First class B&B in a beautiful countryhouse in a very quiet and lovely area in the Aberdeenshire. Even within the house you hear almost nothing, probably also because the hosts have no other guests beside you. You get a big living room with fire place, your own entry with hall which has a large glass front where the sun shines on your face during the day and a spacious bedroom. The whole apartment shows love for details and is very clean. You even have the possibility to sit outside towards the south side. In this B&B everything is high quality: from the breakfast (with homemade stuff like bread, jam and Joghurt; and many other things), to the interior (beautiful stone and wooden floors etc.) up to the toilet paper. Laurence not only spoils you with her healthy food, she offers many books with castles, gardens, hiking and walking tours in Scotland beside her own recommendations. The hosts are very thoughtful/ attentive and lovely. This accommodation is the perfect getaway for a relaxed and quiet time for one person or for a romantic holiday . But even sightseeing is possible. You can visit easily Loch Ness and Fort William; Aberdeen and Dunnottar Castle; Inverness and Nairn Beach. The Cairngorms Nationalpark with countless walks and hiking tours is also within an hour car drive. These are just a few possibilities. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful and peaceful place!

It was lovely to arrive to a real log fire in the sitting room. Terrific period bathroom. Breakfast was great. And Lawrence’s home made jams and yoghurt were wonderful. And nothing was too much trouble. I wish I could have stayed longer. I would really recommend it. And I hope to go back again.

Nothing, it was perfect.

This was the best B&B of the holiday. We were met with a welcome piece of home made cake. We had a bedroom with separate bathroom and our own lounge. The view from the conservatory was lovely. In the morning we had a generous continental breakfast. Our hosts were amazing and looked after us well.

The bath was very stylish but a little difficult for more elderly guests to get in and out of.
