Comfort Suites Florence Shoals Area

The beds were very comfortable. The AC was COLD. That was a good thing considering it was the beginning of July. We did not try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. The water pressure was good on the 3rd floor and the water was HOT!!!! I always like those two things. It was very clean, inside and out. There was a little league baseball tournament in town the weekend we stayed. We could NOT hear the other people there, NOT even the kids playing in the hall. They had plenty of charger outlets for your phones or tablets.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to a leak while I stayed there. We stayed in a suite and the couch was beyond UNCOMFORTABLE! It was hard as a brick to sit on. I could not get the bed to come out from it either. Our view was of the trampoline place next door's roof, so our curtains stayed closed. I am struggling to find anything really bad to write about.

I liked everything about the hotel. Staff was friendly, it was clean and an excellent location.

I didn't like not having access to the pool and the bed though very comfortable was too high am 4'11" a step for us short people would be appreciated.

Nice and clean. Staff were pleasant. The morning breakfast was OK with mini cheese omelette, sausage, biscuits, make your own waffles, cereals etc. Coffee was great. Lunch and dinner through several fast food joints that are close by, even walking distance.

For security, you can't seem to enter the building from the back. No cardkey access in. Not a huge problem but keep that in mind if you stay.

Clean, good location, quiet, reasonably priced

No daily room service to clean. Had to request fresh towels and coffee after a couple of days. One female desk clerk was not real friendly..when asked her questions upon checkin she made u feel like you should have known the “obvious” answer. Other clerks were friendlier.

Their pool was not available - out of order for maintenance. Also, this app shows Jacuzzi Suites in the pictures of the choice of rooms; I asked to upgrade and the desk clerk said she could not change rooms that were booked from this app. I just wanted a room with a dang jacuzzi and couldn’t even get that!

Location and room was great. Clean and all appliances I needed in my room. Security was great.

When I checked in, the woman at check in was RUDE and said that I wasn't able to pay for my room with my credit card because it wasn't a major credit card. It has a master card logo. So I tried paying with my Debit card, which she said it was against their payment policy. I told her the website didn't mention that and said I could pay when I got there. She then said I didn't go on their website, and said she would do it, since I went to the wrong website! Like she was doing me a favor! Needless to say even though I loved the room, I will not be staying there again. To me customer service is ABSOLUTELY the most important. Plus I was nice, pleasent, and EXTREMELY PATIENT AND TRIED. But Thank you for asking! 😊

The staff greeted us when we arrived, promptly gave us our keys and we were off. The common area was spotless as were the grounds. The elevator, hallway and room were also immaculate. It was a quiet restful time.

Breakfast and location was great

I didn't like staff attitude also whenever we would call down to the desk they would make us come get whatever we needed and acted as if they had no supplies. The pool was closed due to covid which is ridiculous at this point

The location to start is great. Walking distance to Walmart and restaurants. The staff (specially the lady at the breakfast) was so kind, helpful and professional. I also loved the pictures of Florence’s landmarks all around the hotel and in the rooms.

Close to restaurants and shopping. easy to get in and out. very, very clean! Plenty of fresh towels. Felt very safe. Quiet.

Pool was closed and I wasn’t told ahead of time. “Handicap accessible” room on 3rd floor was hard to get around in. Staff could hav been friendlier.
