Best Western Auburn/Opelika Inn

The room and bathroom felt very clean and comfortable. Like someone was paying attention.

The property overall felt clean and comfortable. Some towels could have been tossed. I bring my own. Hotel towels previously were higher quality and could stand up to vigorous bleaching. Some looked a little dingy. But overall it was a comfortable stay. If the property could invest in better towels, especially post-covid, they'd score higher points.

Breakfast was good. I believe you need a food permit with the local health department. The amount of towels was nice. The 24/7 folgers coffee was good. TV stations were good.

Somehow my name was misspelled or something and they initially couldn't find my reservation. My room AC was not on, so our room was hot when we arrived at 9 pm. It had been a hot day and we were on the top floor. There was a dirty sock behind the mini fridge. Part of a bone was on the floor at the for of the bed, maybe from someone that had baby back ribs? My bed was too soft. No elevator.

The breakfast was very good and hot. Our child LOVED the pancake maker. Everything in the breakfast area was kept full. As far as the rest of the facility, it was very clean overall, the room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly and accomodating. Quiet and safe location.

The only thing that bothered me was the smell of the air freshener (or maybe it was the cleaning solution). My child and husband said it didn't bother them at all.

The lady handling the breakfast area used her finger to clear, what I assume to have been, a jam in the pancake machine. I let it continue the process and just threw them in the trash. But then I got to thinking about, what else did she do with her bare hands..... Unsanitary!

Very convenient to the venue where I did training. Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok for what I had. Eggs were cold, orange juice was watery, and don't like the type of sausage. Will stay again, felt very safe! Thank you.

Breakfast and too small of bathroom.

We typically stay elsewhere in Auburn, but because of graduation, everything was booked up. I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Best Western! The bed was super comfy, and it was quiet in our room. Even though there were others there, we never heard any outside noise. Great find!

There was no elevator, which isn't the end of the world, but useful to know if you stay on the second floor. I missed that in the description.

The hotel and room were exceptionally clean. The breakfast was great....kitchen and dining area was very clean. My compliments to the cleaning staff. They do an excellent job. The gentleman that checked us in on Sunday, I think his name was Rick or Ricky was very nice and very professional. All in all it was a great stay!!

I can't think of a thing that could have made it better.

Breakfast was above the typical "continental breakfast". They served scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, and much more!

No automatic doors, but staff readily held the doors open for loading and unloading luggage, etc. when needed.

It was very clean. The air conditioner worked very well. There was a refrigerator for my cold items. Ricky at the front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was just what I needed. There were a few fast food places very close by, and it was conveniently close to the freeway but still very quiet.

The alarm clock didn’t work well. The people above me started walking around very loudly at about 1a or 1:30a, which woke me up. The hotel was nothing fancy, but I was grateful for a nice, convenient place to stay.

They saved our weekend vist to Fort Benning. Last minute booking and they were great to give us two rooms that were a great deal and treated us like we were regular visitors. Super friendly, and very well managed.

Wouldnt change a thing.
