Ayres Hotel Fountain Valley

Very nice and clean hotel. Bed was comfortable, shower was spacious. Breakfast was ok scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, bagels, waffles and some pastries. We stayed here for our Disneyland trip it did take about 25 min to get there.

From the first step that you take into this hotel you feel right at home. The staff is extremely happy and friendly to everyone. I didn’t see one unpleasant face from a staff member the three nights that we stayed there. Everything was exceptionally clean and was continuously cleaned during our stay. The breakfast had a variety of food to choose from and was very tasty. The location was perfect, close to the beach and our child’s college.

There is not one thing I can think of that this hotel could do better at.

The breakfast didn’t have many options. It was not restocked if items ran out and there was not much variety.

Honestly like everything about this hotel. Check-in was fast and easy. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Fitness center is solid with plenty of equipment. Everything worked too. Pool and spa were great. Grounds were well kept. Restaurant has decent options reasonably price. Free breakfast was very solid, better than any other place I've stayed. Parking is close and easy too. Love staying at this location.

Loved this hotel! Didn't want to leave. Super clean and professional staff. We stayed here for an Angel game and Disneyland during family vacation. About a 25 minute drive to both and so worth it for the price! Feels like an upscale hotel. We stayed in a 2 Queen bed suite and it was huge! Everything was very clean and new; housekeeping comes everyday which is refreshing. Close to food/freeways. Laundry room was a major plus as we used more than once during our stay. We all had a blast at the pool and spa in the evenings as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!! Money well spent for sure.

one of the cleanest places that I’ve stayed. The breakfast is hearty and the rooms and hotel lobbies are nicely appointed. The beds are super comfy and clean. it’s great having a refrigerator and microwave.

You need a car to get to entertainment, shopping and activities. The pillows are too thin. The Tv channel selection is subpar. There isn’t a guide nor are there ways to stream your Netflix or other channels. Finally, you just check out at the front desk and not via the TV. kind of outdated. Overall a very good hotel, though.

Almost as good as any 5-star property. Comfortable with decent breakfast, clean pool and patio, excellent wifi, polite and helpful staff, and quick checkin and checkout. Kids were usually going alone for breakfast and were very well looked after. We spent six nights and did not feel like locked into a hotel room. The hotel is in fountain valley, so obviously far from LA and Hollywood. But if you were to visit San Diego, or Irvine or Orange - you are perfectly placed for that. Brookhurst st has pretty much every thing you need including a very active mosque. Plenty of parking space. Affordable munchies upfront including cup noodles and ice creams. Excellent hotel.

The room was big, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was tasty. Beds were actually comfortable.
