Fairfield Inn and Suites San Bernardino

The breakfast was readily available when the hotel specified it was. The woman that ran the breakfast however made the experience. She was so friendly and always offering to get anything we needed. Front desk staff was also very kind and respectful even when busy. Extremely friendly and helpful.

The check-in process could have used more people checking in guests. There was only one person working the desk at the time of arrival, but this was due to the fire alarm going off so the other front desk person was dealing with that issue. Rooms were not ready when we arrived either. They were not ready long after, but might have worked out a little better for my friends and I if we were able to get in right away.

The lady in the breakfast area was kind and immediately let us know about eggs and sausage. The area was clean and comfortable. Very good value for the money. The hotel is right off the freeway so there is road noise, but nothing can be done about that. Just be aware it’s there. I ran the fan to help.

Ice machines were not functioning and we had to go to the front desk. But they did have ice.

Hotel was great but there was smoking marijuana next door and there were very loud and I asked to switch rooms but Daniel at the front desk said there’s no more rooms available. I love the fact that there was a Mormon book in our room. That made me feel at peace. The complimentary breakfast was amazing with great staff. I had a great experience overall. The only thing was those neighbors partying next to us and the fact that this hotel isn’t a free smoking hotel I might not stay here again. But thanks for the Book of Mormon.

Acknowledge the people staying there and resolve the issue

The staff is so friendly, especially breakfast server Janelle. Everywhere was clean, attractive, comfortable bed, breakfast had wide selection, social distancing and sanitization handled well by hotel staff. Convenient location and parking spaces.

The “kitchenette” did not have a stove or sink, as I would expect as essential kitchen amenity. I don’t think microwave and tiny fridge constitutes a kitchenette, but almost all of the hotels around here on bookings.com were defining kitchenette the same way. The sofa bed mattress was nothing but fabric over metal springs. We ended up just putting a bedsheet over the sofa cushions and using that for a mini bed instead.

The overhead light in the bathroom was out and the hair conditioner was empty. When we brought this to their attention in the morning, both were taken care of when we returned. That doesn't always happen at other hotels.

The electricity went out in the area which prevented me from charging my phone, laptop and accessing the Wi Fi. This made an impact on the ability to complete work and prepare to check out. I realize it was out of the hotel's control but this was a bit stressful.

Left before breakfast!

Prefer no charge for deposit when we were registered on 12-12-21! Maybe a hold on deposit amount until we departed on 12-13-21 at 5:30am to have eye surgery in Colton CA! Better business in my opinion to have no charge by inn so that it took 5-7 days to have monies for deposit reimbursed!

I really screwed up my arrival dates. Erica the receptionist took care of my dates and checked me with out any problem. I so appreciated her help being I had drive over 7 hours that day. She is so Awesome!

Nothing really.

Everything was very clean and the staff were all outstanding. I will definitely be returning here. A shout out to a girl with red hair at the front desk she was exceptional! Thank you for making my stay a great one

No sitting area very small for a hotel of that price . 2 chairs would of been nice .

Only a freezing cold indoor pool no spa ! I would suggest making it a spa ! Our bathroom had boot prints on the floor.
