The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

$50 for parking is excessive! during the event the host held my debit card the entire time. I was told that my services at tue cabana could not be charged to the room. At check out I had double charges and it could not be resolved at the time of checkout. I had to wait 5 days for the extra charge to drop from my account. the front desk mgr Reed was kind and apologetic and kept in touch with me via email. It was the inconvenience that annoyed me.

Good central location. Neighborhood appeared clean and safe. Restaurant on property offered a very nice breakfast within standard pricing. The staff was polite and friendly. Hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable but the high bed heights make it a bit challenging for shorter people. Garage parking staff considerate. Staff responsive to your needs. Lobby offered flavored water and quiet spaces. Morning coffee in lobby appreciated

Bathtub lacked safety such as anti slip surface or grasp bar. Extra high beds for shorter people if 5’3” stature Nice toiletries but would have appreciated shower cap. Garage parking fee a bit high.

This was an excellent hotel located right in the heart of the Gaslamp district, within walking distance to the conference centre. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The room was large and comfortable, with what is best described as a "classic" decor. You could argue that it may need some renovation to catch up with modern times, but I actually liked it the way it was. Hotel has a small pool/ bar area where you could meet friends should you be inclined to do so. Coffee urns are available in the morning, where you can get a quick cup on the run for free, but there is also a barista in the lobby if you prefer something fancier. In the reception area you can buy snacks (e.g. ice cream) day and night. Hotel room has a mini fridge, coffee machine, and safe. Wifi was included in price and ran smoothly.

The price could have been better, but having said that it was reasonable compared to other hotels in the same location. I guess it is just a pricey neighbourhood.

Cute boutique hotel that felt like a trendy Vegas hotel! The front desk staff and valet staff were very friendly and helpful. I had to change the number of nights I was staying and the front desk was able to make those changes at the desk without a problem or hassle, which I appreciated. Although there are parking garages nearby, I liked the valet service and not having to worry about my rental car. The valet would always have my car ready very quickly and the overnight price was comparable. The location was great! Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Petco Park. I felt safe walking around in the evening as well.

The walls are a bit thin, but I am a light sleeper. Valet was pricey but again when compared to parking overnight at one of the nearby garages, it was comparable.

Good pool vibe, cool lobby and overall decor, great location (especially since we were going to a show at Petco), comfy and spacious rooms.

Room at a few tiny things (toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the door didn’t shut easily) also we borrowed the bikes but they were in rough condition (but also were free so can’t complain). Ate and drank at both the roof bar and downstairs bar and ordered off the happy hour menu but was charged the wrong price both times (although that was fixed when I pointed it out).

Excellent location in the heart of gaslamp and the waterfront. Room was clean and comfortable, although online it pictured a room with a corner window which we did not have. Staff was friendly and helpful, and even arranged flower pedals for us very nicely before our arrival (as a special favor since I had them delivered to the room for V day).

Pool and hot tub out of service. Hotel gave a heads up, but it was still disappointing and combined with construction noise decreased the value. Also, there were no beverages in the fridge, nor were there glasses available for drinks (just plastic cups).

The location was ideal as most of my business was in and around downtown. The facilities were excellent and they were in the midst of upgrading the gym. Consequently, I got a break in rate because of construction, I am told. The best thing is the property provided guests access to a gym 3 blocks away overlooking Petco Park - Amazing.

The front desk person was excellent and very helpful when I checked in. Rest of staff could learn from her, but it was fine. No one was actually rude, but there is a noticeable difference in attentiveness between staff.

Location, Location, Location, plus very good value. A very aesthetically appealing entry/lobby and property overall. Reception was 90% excellent, and the Bell Desk/Doorman were endlessly attentive (young people, but were on top of everything, never had to touch the door once on entry or exit, as they were there to assist at a level of a much higher level of hotel). Bed was completely comfortable, perfect for my liking. Room was very big, and lots of storage, which is an important measurement of room quality for me. Bathroom large, bathtub/shower combo, so choose your preference. Nice bathroom product, and very cheap if you wanted to purchase it from the front desk. While there is the standard coffee product in the room, they also have complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby, which was my preference.

Well, on one hand my room had privacy. However, as is standard with guests booking via online agencies, you generally get the lowest category, so I was on the level 4 pool deck/bar/restaurant, facing inward towards those facilities. But the view was blocked for privacy by fake greenery, and the vertical blinds would also not fully raise to block the view. Initially I was not impressed, but within minutes it made no difference to me. A small turn-off was when I checked-out, and asked for a bottle of water...price was never mentioned, but the cc charge was almost $8 dollars for the water...I wasn't impressed with. the rip-off, and left a slight sour taste after an otherwise really nice stay.

Loved the location, in the middle of the Gaslamp district. The room was very big and with lots of storage options. The beds were so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was very attentive. They made sure we were happy with our stay. We noticed noise coming from the roof during our first night and they promptly moved us to another room.

Not a big deal but probably the view from our window. It was not clear from the description that the room would not have a real view. I would have probably requested the upgrade.

the location is in the heart of the downtown of san diego it was very clean and a very nice room, also the food from the restaurant was very good, and they have free internet and it was very stable, they also gave us a free plastic thermo, so you can refill with water during our stay, and free bikes to ride

They didnt have room service, and some of the staff were rude, they were rebuilding but that we already knew in advance
