Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Locust Grove, an IHG Hotel

The staff was helpful and nice. The room and lobby felt very clean and smelled clean. There was a mixup with our room due to the third party booking service, but they made accommodations for us. Overall, it was a good stay.

The only problem that I had was I had a hard time sleeping at night due to the loud noises all around. We were on the first floor fairly close to the lobby and what looked like a staff area. There were doors slamming early in the morning, what sounded like trash trucks picking up the trash close to our window, people running up and down the halls, and the nearby train. I didn't get a decent night's rest either night that I was there, but the beds were comfy and the room was nice. I'm sure if we had been on a different floor, it might have been different because I have stayed at this location before, and I don't remember having that problem.

*Carissa at the front desk made this the best visit ever. *We have stayed at this location 5-6 times in the past few years and the staff this we’re all exceptional…. * The breakfast looked great, wished we were not in such a hurry and could have enjoyed it. * Beds were very comfortable and pillows too Provided refrigerator for wedding cake at no charge and assisted us with any special needs

* Not enough parking…. * missing USB plug in beside bed, look to have been damaged

The staff at both the evening and the morning were incredible. I believe we had Karissa check us in, she was training another gal and was extremely helpful. I could tell that she really cared about her work and was very hands on in her training in helping the trainee understand everything that she was doing.

There was nothing major that I can think of that I would say that I didn't like. The only minor inconvenience was that the pool door handle was broken but it was only a matter of walking around the patio to go into another door.

The hotel was great and loved the extra room with the sofa there so we could sit on the sofa and watch TV versus being in bed. The location was good and breakfast was perfect.

Honestly there was nothing to complain about.

Save was locked and we couldn’t open and use it. Coffee was cold one morning. No hand sanitizer in food area.

I loved the customer service. The place was very clean. In a super great location. Our view could have been better but still no complaints. Cleaning staff was even friendly.

We had problems with our room door. it was hard to lock. We had to slam it shut several times in order for it to lock

Cleanliness and comfort is highly valued when you are on the road during long trips. We really annoyed our stay, great customer service and the best hot breakfast ever. I totally recommend this beautiful property located around many services, and restaurants at a walking distance. Great job!

Breakfast was very good. Location was great as it’s right off 75. Exceeded by expectations in cleanliness linens were excellent.

Bathtub could use something in the bottom to kept. Elderly people from falling. Very slippery. The rooms are poorly insulated. Could have joined in the conversation with the people next door. Sounded as if they were in our shower.

The clerk on the night of check in was extremely friendly & good breakfast

The location is near the interstate, you hear the trucks on the road with their loads.
