The Westin Chicago Lombard

I liked that when you enter the hotel it smells amazing. The room was the perfect size, very comfy and relaxing. I got a good nights rest and so did my son and husband. The location was perfectly placed near food and shopping.

I didn't like that when I approached the front desk I was told to wait for the front desk person to get off of a phone call. The phone call is not what bothered me, what bothered me was a gentleman came out to attend to guests however, instead of helping me first (the person who was next in line) he helped the person behind me and I still had to wait.

The location is wonderful. The lobby smells wonderful.

The hotel is starting to show wear. The bottom of the doors of the rooms are starting to peel. Our refrigerator didn’t work. We had to call maintenance. The safe did not work. The door to the bathroom has swollen so much overtime that you needed to push to actually get out of it.

The pool was great. It was nice and warm. The staff was very kind and worked hard.

I was a little sad. There was no microwave in the room as was advertised. I did have to ask for the ropes because they didn’t leave them in the room. But the staff was quick to get us the robes when I asked.

loved my room, bedding was very comfortable. when I arrived a gentleman went out of his way to help me with my luggage and getting me checked in and settled in my room. 1617 also loved the mirror

my safe did not work. where you pour the water into the coffeemaker needed better cleaning. the bartender at our wedding Lacoco/Lopez was not very friendly and never smiled. I used to do that same hob part time, and I was much kinder. I also had a hard time with my tv. when I turned it on it kept saying connecting and it took a long time.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient. We found the service to be all we could expect. I was surprised not to find free internet apart from signing up to become Westin members.

We brought our own breakfast food. Anything we might have purchased for breakfast seemed pricey. A cup of coffee at the in house Starbucks cost double the normal price.

friendly staff and clean rooms. Due to Covid the restaurants hours were limited. There wasn't any breakfast available in the hotel. A Starbucks with some food items was open 24 hours. The indoor pool and workout room were open.

We did not get the room we booked since those rooms were already occupied. This was very disappointing but the staff reduced our room rate. There weren't any signs indicating how to get items for the room or hotel policies during the transition due to Covid. This would be helpful to customers and staff who had to repeat this info.

Delicious. My favourite was pancake and fruit. I was attending a conference on site so this stay was perfect

The conference room had no natural light or fresh air so felt very claustraphobic. Needed daylight

The free parking, the accessibility from the major routs and freeways, the shopping near by, excellent service and cleanliness, Very comfortable place to stay.

1) Beds were too soft for us .........................but NICE otherwise. 2) That " Holy Mackerel " was closed. 3) Could have had more help/service at breakfast time...............but we understand that during this time it is difficult to get help.

Stayed recently for high school nationals powerlifting. Staff was great and answered all of our questions. CHARLES was amazing. He grabbed a luggage roller, loaded our bags and took us straight to our room and checked on us every time he saw us in the lobby or hallway and he ALWAYS had a smile! Beds were very comfortable!

Bring back microwaves to rooms!

Location was perfect loved elevators! My large bread dog was with me they were awesome at Harry Carey’s restaurant at property we sat on the balcony.

No complaints the whole stay was very pleasant. The location was good and the staff very responsive.
