Our room was large and spacious, with a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful flower garden and gazebo. The balcony had a nice table and chair set that allowed for sitting outside with an iced tea or cup of coffee depending on the time of day and your personal tastes. The ambience of the hallways and lobby was peaceful, safe, and comforting. It was great that our closet area also had a second sink so that my wife could use the sink and mirror there while I was using the shower. That was an unexpected, but very nice, blessing! The continental breakfast provided was well-stocked, delicious, and served in a very lovely and spacious room designed to accommodate a large number of guests.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing. The room was cute and very charming. It felt like we were sleeping over at grandma's house...in the best possible way. The colors were soothing. The beds were very comfortable and had quilts folded at the foot. There was a small table and chairs, a desk, a large TV cabinet that hid the TV and looked like a large armoire. There was a fridge, but no microwave. We had a balcony room on the first floor that looked out onto a beautiful floral quilt square garden. The grounds were lovely and quiet to stroll or bicycle around. We had the evening buffet in the restaurant and both the food and the service were great. We plan to return soon!

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Very nice hotel, with friendly guest services. The room was comfortable and unbeknownst to us, had a restaurant, playground and stores on the property. We were traveling with the grandkids, so the playground and gift shop were a bonus. It's a less congested area than Shipshewana and I loved not fighting the traffic. The restaurant food was very good.

The guest services offered to call into the restaurant to put our name on the list to be seated. We had no idea where the restaurant was and barely made our time as we had to walk across the property to get there. We thought it was in the hotel. Luckily it wasn't very busy, so we easily got a table. The stores in the area closed pretty early, so we didn't get a chance to visit them.

The grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. The decor is fitting to the area. Every area was very clean. The balcony is a wonderful amenity. The breakfast exceeded expectations - gravy and egg casserole were very good & better than you'd find at other hotel breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again!

The walls do seem a bit thin, as we heard everything from our "neighbors" and were awakened by their talking. The shops on the grounds are not open on Sundays. We stayed on a Saturday night, so hoped to visit the shops before we left on Sunday, but they were closed. We learned this is typical for the surrounding area shops and restaurants as well, and not a reflection of the inn.

The room was very nice. We are planning to stay there again this summer. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We traveled to Shipshewana, IN for a concert. It was cold outside so we just stayed in our room & watched television until supper. We didn't use the pool. We ate at the restaurant on the premises. They have very good food that is reasonably priced & much better tasting than fastfood. We returned to watched more TV. Since the area has a large Amish population, all restaurants & stores are closed on sundays. Except McDonald's & the gas stations. So if you want to do any shopping do it before or after Sunday. If you're going to stay over a Sunday & you don't want to eat fastfood, order restaurant food & put it in your room refrigerator. We didn't have a microwave, but if you plan ahead & bring paper plates & check with the hotel staff, maybe they could heat your food up for you. Otherwise, it's McDonald's, Subway (at the Knights gas station down the road) or there is a Mexican restaurant in Shipshewana on the main drag, but since it's like the only thing open, so it's crowded. As you can see, we've been there a few times. LOL

The room didn't have a microwave.

It felt like home! Rooms and hallways were tastefully decorated had more than enough space- including 2 sinks in two different spaces! The hallway had spaces where you could sit on a couch or comfy chair. Our patio looked out onto a small pond- very peaceful and welcoming. We had a problem with the heat but the maintenance worker came right away and fixed it. He was very polite, efficient, and cleaned up his mess.

A little disappointed in breakfast- no hot eggs. Also, the tv in our room was a little on the small side.

Beautiful and comfortable!! Staff were polite and helpful.room was nice and appreciated being close to elevator and breakfast area!!

I Was little disappointed in the buffet bar for dinner. Food was delicious but not too much variety and your competition was better at this. My expectations were high being this is a major resort and conference center. Again food was delicious but pretty standard..I've seen more selection at similar restaurants.

As a local resident (we live 40 minutes from location) I had never visited the property for lodging. We were incredibly impressed with the room, facilities, atmosphere, and service. The room was incredibly clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and knowledgable with our questions. The price was average for this type of lodging. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL and there were a lot of buffet choices. You can get carry-out from the Essenhaus restaurant and Door Dash from most of the other local restaurants. The Essenhaus buffet was phenominal.

I would have liked to see later hours for the pool/spa services - since we came for a wedding we didn't get to use those facilities due to the time contraints. The local shoppes are a bit pricey, but they have a lot of nice touristy items.

Beautiful grounds, beautiful, home-like decor, comfortable beds, and good TV channels for children. Delicious snacks and drinks available all hours. WONDERFUL breakfast! Sausage gravy, biscuits, delicious hash browns with cheese, lots of sweet rolls and banana bread. Even the coffee was excellent -and I am super picky about coffee. Great pool and lots of game options including air hockey, ping pong, arcade games, and pool. Lots to do and plenty of shopping. I wish we had stayed more than one night.

They need a sign by the pool shower. I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. It should be simple to figure out, but... somehow it wasn't. It would be nice to have a fan in the room for white noise. I still slept pretty well, and the temperature was perfect.

I loved the property. My daughter and I went for a very peaceful walk on the hotel trails and there was a beautiful horse and white buggy on the trails. We walked to go shopping and out to dinner without leaving the property. This location was only 7 minutes from Shipshewana, which was also on our itinerary.

I thought that we were getting a double room with a sitting area, but my sitting area was a table and two chairs. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable for me. The breakfast was not very accommodating to someone on keto, but there were things I could eat.
