We were in the Georgia O'Keefe room again on this trip. It is a lovely room, very comfortable with a chair and ottoman in a curtained reading nook- so quaint and private for late night readers :) There are lots of books to read in the nook if you don't have your own book. This time we were able to stay long enough in the morning to have some of the Inn's bold brew of coffee, and some delicious melons. Other guests had french toast and sausage. I don't eat gluten, so passed on the french toast. The historic, artistic southwest is captured at this very comfortable inn, and the ambience will make you feel right at home. The Lundeen family are lovely attentive people; you will feel like you are staying with friends. We also enjoyed chatting with some of the other guests over morning coffee and breakfast. This is definitely our halfway stopping point Inn on our trips to Texas from California, and on the way back!

Nothing can surpass this very unique inn in Las Cruces.

Beautiful old home designed by Linda Lundeen’s husband. It’s filled with unique pieces at every turn. The rooms are spacious, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Great value!

This is a truly unique place to stay. It’s off the beaten path. It’s very cozy. Linda loves to chat and has a story about everything. She’s quite a character. Be prepared to spend some time with her! I enjoyed her company, and you have to be comfortable with interacting with your host and being a guest in someone’s home to stay here.

We were immediately greeted with warmth by Lydia. She efficiently checked us in and made us feel at home. The entire property is warm and welcoming and filled with history and art. Linda is genuinely interested in her guests and their stories and graciously spent time sharing stories with us. The hospitality is unmatched. The walls of this boutique inn are covered with art and history. It's the perfect stay for creatives. Breakfast was delicious: homemade egg frittata, coffee, muffins, fruit and tea. Served in the impressive dining area and surrounded by art, breakfast was an experience.

There was a red bathtub in our room. It would have been so fabulous had it been working. But it was part of the decor only. The shower was a bit small for my spouse.

The breakfast consisted of generous servings of fruit, coffee, croissants and home style cooking by the friendly and gracious owners, Linda and Lidia.

Some people might find a few appliances like the stove or television slightly under par; however, we found everything acceptable especially considering the wonderful hosts with their charming storytelling and the other guests who all seemed to relate well.

This is the place to stay if you don't want a cookie-cutter chain hotel! You will feel like a guest staying in someone's grand southwest home. With the historical significance of the architecture, the antiques, and artwork everywhere, it is one of the most unique hotel/bed/breakfast that we have ever stayed in.

We wish we did not have to depart so early in the morning so we could have enjoyed the breakfast and the company! Early departure was our doing not the hotel ;)

An absolutely lovely and unique place to stay! Lydia and Linda took such good care of us -- the breakfasts offered each day were wonderful, and the conversation was lively and always fascinating. If you want to make good memories in Las Cruces, you'll want to stay at Lundeen Inn of the Arts!

Honestly, I don't think anything could be improved. Maybe provide a box of tissue in the rooms for those of us with terrible allergies. :-)

Linda and Family have created an oasis of comfort and art in superb Southwestern architectural tradition. They offer this Inn with patios to their guests with a delightful breakfast and engaging conversation, surrounded by art. The price is exceptionally affordable. The location is extremely quiet and walkable to the downtown square. Our room was the Georgia O’Keeffe room. Sparklingly clean, a bathroom en suite, well appointed bedroom, a comfortable reading nook, with a ceiling fans and air conditioning available. On site parking is free and right in front of the Inn entry.

Property is in a great location, close to La Mesilla area. Linda and Lydia were warm and friendly hosts. Very nice breakfast that was delicious. This is not the usual corporate hotel. Each room is unique. LOTS of art works filled the walls. We had the Georgia O’Keefe room. It was nicely decorated with antique furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Honestly, I had reservations about this reservation, but we had a pleasant experience and I would stay there again.

Not a problem for us, but the rooms are upstairs and there’s not an elevator. Might not be your place if you have busy, high energy toddlers due to art works.

The house is charming because it’s over 100 years old and full of artwork. Very interesting to see. Lydia was super sweet and helpful upon check in. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. The beds was comfortable memory foam. Room was clean and felt homey.

Since this is a very old house, it’s in the older part of town so we were a bit concerned but it turned out to be just fine.

The Lundeen Inn of the Arts is wonderful. Linda Lundeen is charismatic and her generosity of spirit brings grace and effervescence to the Inn. Her daughter, Lydia, is lovely and takes special care of the guests without being intrusive. My husband and I have stayed at the Inn several times when traveling through Las Cruces. We love the rooms, the gardens, the tranquility. Our dogs always enjoy their stay!

I liked everything!
