Holiday Inn & Suites McKinney - N Allen, an IHG Hotel

It was wonderful to have a microwave in the room. I have been a loyal Hyatt person for YEARS, but couldn't find a Hyatt near this location, and I am glad I expanded my horizons! It actually was such a positive experience, we booked Holiday Inn Express's for the remainder of our trip when we could!

I am used to suite rooms, so the room could have been a little larger, but I do believe the microwave in the room trumped the size!

Location was right next to my work venue and the price was very reasonable

I don't understand why I couldn't get a receipt at the end of my stay. The front desk clerk said since I booked from a 3rd party I would have to get the receipt from them but that has never been my experience in the past. She was nice about it but it was I will try once then, "oh well, nothing I can do." Still waiting on my receipt from someone.

My room was extremely clean & the bed extremely comfortable. I slept like a baby.. For the first time ever, I did not notice bed bugs in my bed.. That's a treat for me!!

I can't really think of anything except for hearing a toddler or child running around the room - stomping loudly - in the room above. It didn't last long..and I was comfy regardless.

Hotel was literally down the street from my son's apartment and the price wasn't bad. Location to restaurants and stores, gas station and expressway is excellent

The room needed a few repairs, i.e warm lamp out in the bathroom and sunshade was laying on window ledge otherwise no complaints

I was impressed with this place. I didn’t have high expectations as I usually don’t for hotels. But the lobby was impressive, tidy and clean. A lounge and a bar (although currently closed bc of Covid). I think there was an indoor pool but I didn’t scope it out as I was here for business. 5 mins from Medical City McKinney. My room was very clean and modern. Mini fridge and microwave. Desk. Sitting area with reading light. Entry way cabinet. Closet. Walk in shower with built in seat. Not noisy. No weird smells. Room was dark.

We were there 3 nights and no staff entered our room to empty trash or refresh towels or refill toilet paper or coffee.

The smell was very strong in lobby. (Cleaning smell and perfume smell. Hard on people with allergies.

the location, the room was big, clean and comfortable. the pool was nice

there seemed to be little things that didn’t work or needed maintenance.

was nice clean and the staff lady was nice and got me a blanket when I can and asked would definitely stay again

Clean large room, comfortable bed, tons of electrical outlets including USB ports everywhere! Perfect location for our needs as we were moving back to McKinney.
