The breakfast was AMAZING! We personally are not a fan of buffet breakfasts and was very glad that they provide you with an individual breakfast. It is present very well. It was all delicious. The owner served the breakfast and gave us a description of each of the items, with most of it being homemade and/or locally sourced. The quality of the breakfast, including the drinks were top notch. The staff we met (owner and his son) were friendly, welcoming and relaxed. The bedroom was comfortable with a cozy feel, it was extremely clean and well presented. We were able to leave our luggage in reception whilst we went out for the day which was really helpful. The WiFi was reliable. The hotel is right by the centre yet still quiet for a good nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if we return to Tirana we will stay here again.

Best Hotel Experience Ever—A Stay to Remember! I can’t recommend this hotel enough! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the main square and the bus station, making it super convenient. The rooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds, and even the towels smelt fresh and clean. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the hotel went the extra mile by providing water bottles infused with lemon, mint, and ginger daily—such a thoughtful touch! The food was outstanding. Breakfast was a set menu, but every day there was something unique to enjoy. Having travelled to over 50 countries, I can confidently say this hotel served the most delicious breakfasts I’ve ever had. The hotel staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout my stay. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and an unforgettable experience, this is the place to be!

Goni, who owns the hotel, and Gazi, who works in the restaurant, and all of the staff who work here, are fabulous! They bent over backwards to ensure we had a great stay, even helping us to arrange taxis to get where we wanted to go. The hotel is older but extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is fantastic and we walked everywhere to tour the city. The breakfasts were an event, and they were the best we've ever had! After exploring the city, we enjoyed going to the restaurant for a drink to end each day.

We loved everything about our stay here. The location was excellent within easy walking distance of the sights as well access to transport. The hotel and bedroom was fantastic, the breakfasts were amazing each morning. The staff and the owner were so welcoming, helpful and eager to make sure you have the best of stays. The owner particularly went out of his way to make sure we didn't miss our flight back to the UK by taking us himself after the taxi didn't turn up. He went beyond normal service for us and refused any payment - what a wonderful host! We would definitely recommend staying here and if you don't you will miss out on true hospitality.

There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like about our stay. Everything was fantastic.

The hotel had a great location and this made it very easy to access the made sights of Tirana. The hotel owner was so helpful, and was also along with his wife the driving force behind the breakfasts. These are made for you (not buffet) and are amazing. This was a significantly better than any other breakfast we had during our trip. Hotel was very elegant and clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel for anybody visiting Tirana.

The only very slight negative was the space in the room to layout 2 medium sized suit cases, but it was manageable so not a very big issue.

Very charming hotel, with a friendly and attentive staff that really goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. I was unlucky and needed medical attention during our stay - which is scary and stressful when you are abroad- but the staff was so helpful and accommodating, both with helping to get an ambulance, and to make sure I had everything I needed afterwards. The hotel is small and quiet, on a one-way street that is walking distance to the Skenderbeu-plaza, and a welter of small cafes, corner shops, burek-places and bread shops. We had a room with a king size bed with windows towards the back yard, and I can safely say I’ve never had such a peaceful night in such a central location. No noise from cars or parties is a huge thumbs up! The hotel’s restaurant is airy and light with windows all around so you get to take in the mosaic of the buildings from different areas of Albanias history that surrounds the hotel. The breakfast was truly delicious: with yoghurt, toast, jam, cake, omelette and fresh fruits - everything made fresh. The restaurant also seemed to be popular among locals, who came in for coffee, lunch or dinner. I cannot recommend it enough, and will definitely come back!

What a lovely hotel directly in city center! Room was very clean, spacious and comfy beds (we had a twin room), fast internet, fresh free mint-water, spotless bath-room. Free private car-parking on top. But the best was the breakfast, should pre-book in any case: not the usual boring buffet-breakfast but a home-made freshly made and big breakfast plate with a mixture of local food, egg-benedictine, fresh-fruits and berries, joghurt, bread and croissant, freshly squeezed juice and your choice of any coffee-specialty otr tea. All on the open rooftop-restaurant with stunning views over Tirana. Even the service was spotless and very friendly, as we learned later, it's all managed by one family who let you feel how much they love to serve their customers.

I recently stayed at Gloria, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing breakfast – a wide selection of fresh and delicious options, from pastries to hot dishes, catering to every taste. It really set a perfect tone for the day! The staff were equally impressive – they were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready with a smile and quick to assist with any request. Whether it was providing local tips or accommodating special needs, their service was top-notch. I also want to highlight the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were spotless, and it was clear that the cleaning staff take great pride in maintaining high standards. Every day, my room was freshened up beautifully, which made coming back after a long day even more pleasant. All in all, I highly recommend Gloria for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place with excellent service and a fantastic breakfast. I’ll definitely be back!

My 2nd stay at Gloria, and I really like being there. It’s a small hotel in a side street close to Skanderbeg square and in an easy walking distance from Blloku. There’s a pleasant family vibe to the place, and it kind of feels like visiting friends. My room was the right size for one, with a balcony, minibar and free mint-water. The breakfast is not to be missed in this hotel - a multi course, extravagant event. And it’s included in the modest price for the stay. I had evening meals in the restaurant as well, and they were delicious. I will return again next year, and highly recommend Gloria to everyone.

We arrived by car and parking was straight forward and easily accessible. Rooms were comfortable with good quality bedding. Peppermint water was in the mini bar as a welcome gift. Breakfast was good. Fruit juice and peppermint water were provided in a glass but only one cup of coffee permitted gratis with the breakfast deal. We would have preferred the choice of drinks at breakfast time.

We prepaid our bill at check in and my husband was then charged for one cup of coffee at checkout. With hind sight we would have preferred the choice of more coffee with breakfast than the cold drinks served.
