We had the top room with really an exceptional view over the city all the way to the sea. The breakfast was a highlight, beautifully presented by the friendly kitchen staff and the freshly made eggs were great. They also always keep hot water, coffee and some sweet pieces ready. Also, we really appreciated that it's basically a BnB run by a local family, not an enterprise.

Overall, the insulation is not great. We had them switch on the heater in the bathroom but you could tell that the energy loss through the windows was rather much and so the toilet stayed rather fresh but bearable. What was a bit annoying was, that the water from the bathtub was a bit dirty. We told them and they said, they'll look into it but that didn't happen during our stay. I trust they do it afterwards but taking a bath was out of question with kind of ruined the whole "whirlpool-bathtub" advertisment of the room.

Beautiful house. Big and comfortable room. Very nice breakfast. Coffee, tea and sweets served during the whole day. Warm and welcoming staff. Gisela was super helpful during our stay. They were flexible when we needed - for example, they provided earlier breakfast upon request. Good location, in a calm block (requires a bit of energy to go up, though). Perfect cleanliness. Good value. Recommended.

Wi-fi was super instable. Upstairs guests were noisy. We could hear voices, laughs and steps from our room, even at late night. I know this is out of the staff's control, but it might be a good idea to kindly remind guests after check-in that for a pleasant stay for everyone in the house one should observe common sense rules regarding silence during the night. There was a construction going on. One day we went back to the guesthouse after lunch to get some rest, but it was super noisy. Very hard to take a nap. Anyway it is interesting to notice they are renovating the house, as it may seem outdated in some parts.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was satisfying, and the location was convenient. The building has a unique charm, with the owner living on-site, although we never saw her. It gives off a cozy, homelike atmosphere rather than a typical hotel, with personal photos scattered throughout the common areas. Just be aware that there’s no lift, and all rooms are located on the upper floors.

The internet connection was weak, and it was difficult to stay connected most of the time.

The staff was very friendly, good breakfast, great common areas, not too far from the town center.

The heating could not be adjusted, it was either very hot or should be switched out or open the window. I suggest replacing the heater. I also suggest to cover the floor with carpets because the tiles were very cold. The windows should be replaced which would improve the noisiness of the room. The wifi was totally unreliable.

Even thought I was unsure of my arrival time, which ended up being after 11 pm, reception was welcoming. Breakfast included a large selection served buffet style with eggs also available. I also appreciated that tea and coffee was available at all times. It was a traditional-style house decorated with lots of old traditional furniture especially the living areas in which breakfast was served and which also provided a sunny seating area. They also phoned a taxi for me when leaving, to go to the airport which was appreciated as I couldn't get an Uber.

This little house is really a bijou of Ushuaia. I did not expect to stay in this lovely house, with the coffee and little sweet cake on arrival, the decoration is beautiful and unique. The staffs are all really kind and helpful. The location is a little bit outside of town, but 4 minutes walk you are already in central. The room was all very quiet. I will definitely stay here if I come back to Ushuaia.

Everything’! What an amazing place from start to end- they let me check in early after a massive flight - the whole place is cosy - intimate - spotless. Coffee and tea and cakes always there - fabulous breakfast- great location - gorgeous room - warm and cosy. I cannot say enough good things - book it now.

We liked its location near (but not in!) the city center. The manager was fantastic! My wife had an injury to her leg, and the manager (sorry, don’t recall her name) brought my wife’s breakfast down to our room!

It wasn’t as near the city center as I would have liked. It’s listed on booking.com as being within half a mile of the center, and it’s all of that. Not easy walking distance to restaurants and shops, especially with my wife’s injury.

Nice structure, just 10 minutes walking from the touristic port. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good and various enough and - ice on the cake - the common room was accessible any time for tea and home made cake. Definitely recommended.

Some elements in the room need a quick refreshment: the window glass was cracked, the bedroom door was noisy when closing it, and the shower box didn’t slide properly on the rails. These are mainly suggestions for the property though, as they didn’t affect my experience at la Posada del Fin del Mundo.

Great guesthouse, I recommend it, it's at the top of the hill, but it's a quiet walk from the av. San Martin. We were very well looked after, on the floor where there is breakfast, there is hot water at night and I could make a cup of tea. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because the water in the shower took a long time to go down and the pillow was very low, but I solved it by putting a cover under the pillow.
