The location is great, all good restaurants and wine bars are around. Armenia Wine festival is happening on this street in from on the hotel. But rooms are on the quiet side, so it is not noisy at all. There is a good breakfast, but there are also many breakfast places around as well if you want something different.

Wi-Fi is very unreliable (at least on the 6th floor). Door locks seem to be using wi-fi as well, so my door sometimes did not work. There is an electric teapot in the room -- but no teabags or coffee, so it is kind of useless.

We had to arrange a hotel in the last second after our previous accommodation fell through. Royal Plaza was amongst the most convenient options, considering price and location. Our first impressions were good. The hotel looked clean and comfortable and the reception organised everything quickly for us, which we appreciated as we travel with a 7-months-old baby. The room was ample and spotless clean. There was always good communication with the reception, who were fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English. The location is extremely convenient, as it is located in a busy street full of restaurants and bars, and just 10 minutes away from the Opera House and 20 minutes away from Republic Square.

Our experience was very satisfactory overall, but if we are forced to think of points of improvement, only one thing comes to mind. The state of infrastructure in the room could be improved. The handle of the window was broken and the AC leaked water when in use. But the room in the temperature was pleasant, so we didn't need any of them.

I really enjoyed our stay in Royal Plaza. First of all, they upgraded our room free of charge and gave us a bigger room with the best view. The reception was very helpful with all the requests including setting up a separate internet for our room. The hotel is clean, nice, and the service is great. I am very grateful to Alik and his team for the great experience they provided, we will come back here with a big pleasure.

Hi visitors, let's just start from saying that corresponding to each other using Booking was very easy. The shuttle driver met me at the Airport, he had a big poster with my name on it. The area where the hotel is located is famous by its plethora of vine shops and cute affordable cafes which are open till wee hours . Takes 5 minutes to reach the heart of the city. The hotel's foyer looks grand and very clean, the receptionist is so welcoming and friendly, you know that they were waiting for YOU. Although it's a busy street, the windows are nicely insulated and can't hear a thing on my 4th floor suite. And yes, you can open the windows to get fresh air in and hear the happy buzz of people chit-chatting and relaxing at cafes and taking promenades. The room is spacious, tidy as it's expected. All cleaned and linen changed daily even for a short stay. Breakfast is fulfilling and delicious with local cheese, preserves and basturma. I read some bad reviews somewhere and feel very sorry for reviewers who probably got from the wrong foot that day, felt like spilling their negative emotions and anger in their essays. Either they never lived here, or acting on behalf of competitors or simply had a personal bad day. Again, I feel sad for whatever they were going through. As I said, the staff is very courteous, truly eager to satisfy your demands or desires and go well beyond. Example: 1) Eventhough the breakfast is a buffet style, the staff will inquire what time I want to eat, so the table will be set - up for me all fresh, warm and ready to eat ( see pictures). 2) The director of hotel approached me one day and asked if I drink wine, so he presented me with a bottle of delicious young and flavourful Rose petals wine. Well now, how many hotels acting so gratefully and appreciate that I chose their hotel and not the other ones?! I thought that was sweet of him.

I didn't like that my stay was too short -- wish I had different circumstances and could enjoy the hotel for longer time .

The location of this hotel is amazing, all the good restaurants, bars, supermarkets are so close. Also it is very close to Cascade and it takes 10 min to reach Northern Avenue walking. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The rooms of the hotel are quite large.

A very comfortable room, it has everything you need for your stay, you can walk to the center in just 3 minutes, overall I liked everything, I recommend it!

The hotel is in an excellent location, the heart of Yerevan! It's not in it's prime state, some refurbishing of rooms are needed but overall it was clean and comfortable with friendly staff members, also very quie so would come back again.

The location is the best in Yerevan close to everything in the center walking distance. The manager and the staff where so polite and are ready to help with the smallest things.

We had a great stay at Royal Plaza. the room was extremely clean, all staffs were friendly and nice specially the receptionists who always had a big smile for anyone. Great location and a lot of nearby restaurants.
