The beds were comfortable
We phoned the motel to inform them that we would be arriving about 7.30pm. Message left. On arrival 7.40pm we were told that we were lucky as close the doors at 8pm. I mentioned we had contacted them & left a message about our arrival time. Informed that that particular phone had been dropped & not working. Then the chap on reception proceeded to burp. Not a very welcome reception

The room was smart looking, like a deluxe room. The shampoo & conditioner made my hair really nice. The pool was great even though it was a cool day. Parking was right at the room which was great as I had a few bags. Bed really comfy and supportive. Linen very nice. The manager was very agreeable and polite.
That the bottom of the shower curtain was discoloured and some bed pillows had hair on it that wasn't mine and marked ones in the cupboard too. The shower needs a shelf, there's nowhere for the soap or shampoos, so I had to put them on the floor mat on the ground.

It was close to town and we could walk to the places we wanted to go. Even if we had to drive, it wasn't a long drive to our destination
The bed was uncomfortable for some unknown reason. I woke up with a sore neck on the first morning. The shower pressure was a little weak.

The Major Mitchell Motel was well located, a short walk from the centre of Bourke. The room was clean and comfortable and the owners helpful, and working hard to make their accommodation even better, for some things need sprucing up.

Comfortable motel in a good position to walk to club for a great meal at the Chinese restaurant. We booked 4 rooms and were all located together with car parking right outside our door. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Well appointed. Clean and all the appliances needed for a fresh start to the day. So far out bush we were delighted to have such good digs for the night. Dog very welcome.
Ony complaint might be that the beds were a bit too springy for our liking. But still had a good sleep!
