What a cosy, warm and enjoyable time we had at The Bank Guesthouse! We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by Phil and shown the ropes of our spacious bedroom with private lounge (and fireplace) and ensuite. We slept very well in our super comfortable Queen bed and enjoyed a hot breakfast (included) the next morning in the dining room in front of a beautiful open fire. We also loved our tour of the gorgeous gardens with Yan after breakfast, and we look forward to returning in the Spring to see the magnificent gardens in bloom

I knew the minute I saw a photo of the Bank that I wanted to stay there. When we arrived, we were greeted by Phil and shown around the bottom floor and kitchen. It feels so comfortable, there are little details everywhere that surprise and delight and I am obsessed with the night light in our bathroom. Our room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Outside our room was the kitchen, where we could help ourselves to a range of hot drinks and cereals. After a solid night sleep, I woke and pulled the curtains back and honestly felt I could have been in a cottage in UK. Phil put on a beautiful and hearty breakfast, and I was sad to leave. I hope to be back the Bank soon for a slightly longer stay and to explore some of the walking and possibly bike trails around the area.

Nothing.

Phil, the owner was a wonderful host. We had a lovely room, exceptionally comfortable bed, beautifully furnished. Being a guest house, the bathroom is shared but we were the only guests staying on the top floor for our 3 days. Breakfast was more than ample. Cereal choices, followed by a cooked breakfast. We stayed in one night and we were welcome to use the kitchen. I highly recommend this accommodation. Exceptional value.

Everything exceeded our expectations

This was our 2nd stay at The Bank Guesthouse in Glen Innes and the improvements since our previous stay in 2019 were evident. From the friendly welcome through to the farewell everything was as it should be and Phil and his wife are great hosts. The rooms and lounge upstairs are warm and cosy with reverse cycle aircon and/or electric heating. Very comfortable bed and our own bathroom this time. A cooked breakkie was included and was very adequate. We will be back again one day I'm sure

Not a dislike, but we were amused that the local council were out blowing the pavements and street sweeping bright and early on a Sunday morning!

Lovely BnB. Phil is a fantastic, friendly host. Rooms were spacious, very clean and super comfortable beds. I had the pleasure of having the entire floor to myself during my stay and very much enjoyed the sitting room. Breakfast was delicious and the wood fire made me feel at home. I loved this historic building. Highly recommend this beautiful accommodation travelling to Glen Innes

No complaints, other than I didn't stay longer!

We loved everything about this property. The style and decor we’re gorgeous, the room was very comfortable with top quality, bedding and fittings. The bathroom was excellent and it was so nice to have access to a large lounge room to relax with a glass of wine in front of the TV after a long day and a busy night. Our host was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. A beautiful property.

Our time at The Bank Guest House was short but very satisfying. It's a delightful place to be not just because it is right in the main street for shopping and tourist activity but because it is a delight - characterful, charming and spacious! There are renovations still taking place but the room we had was excellent and the living room warm and inviting. The breakfast Phil made for us the next morning was scrumptious! We will visit again when we are at Glen Innes

Great location, beautiful house, comfortable bed, very friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. Lots of rooms to ourselves no other guests staying

We were upstairs which we managed but prefer not to these days. The kitchen situation is awkward without a sink. We managed to make tea/coffee and there is a good fridge so it was ok, just not as convenient as a motel room.

This is a beautiful old historical building on a main street. The rooms were extremely clean, and the home cooked breakfast was a treat. Excellent position if you require restaurants, although we made food in the kitchen which was located next to our rooms. The owner is a very chatty helpful person and recommended where we could take a hike. The bed was a dream. I suffer with back problems and the bed helped.

The stay was something different in a good way. It was like going back in time whilst having modern convenience. We had the whole upper floor to ourselves with a bookshelf of books including encyclopedias from 1956. Great memories. We had a very good meal across the road at the pub so no need to drive. Phil enjoys having people stay and provides great service and information to assist in your travels.

Parking on the street a bit of a worry but we had no problems and apparently in 5 years Phil says he has had no incidents.
