The owner was amazingly nice, the cleaner was very helpful providing us with a new matt, room is very cute and had everything we needed. Anything we didn't like wasn't that's bad and we will stay again when we visit family in Ayr.

The floor has a strange oily substance all over it making our feet incredibly dirty. I wiped the floor down with the wet bathroom matt and that seemed to help. The mop was probably dirty when the room was mopped, easy mistake when it comes to tiles. A few noisy guests also, a guest started their car at 530am and left it running right next to our room until 6am, there was a few hoons going past too which kept us awake the first night, cannot be helped tho.

Bit dated but clean. Pool really small so I struggled to do any lengths especially with the pool cleaner in it. I also couldn't cope with the ticking noise it made that really magnified when you put your head under. Under the water is usually so calm and relaxing and my happy place so that was a shame.

Absolutely everything possible. The lady (couple) who owns it was so extremely helpful in all ways. From responding to my query in email quickly about needing ground floor unit as I have to use a walker. To explaining about a festival in town that day. even going as far as giving me a number in case need anything as they were going to festival. All staff were extremely friendly. polite and very helpful. Room was very clean, well maintained with a lot of room to move. Lovely very hot water with really good pressure was nice change. Lovely and quiet motel on main street. Hoping to get back again soon and stay longer.

Could not think of anything at all that I did not like about the motel or folks there.

I really enjoyed the stay at the motel with my partner. The customer service was amazing the owner of the hotel she was so lovely and welcoming. The hotel was on the same street as the main mall so it was a walking and driving distance to the main mall area. The motel was clean , had good limited supplies and was based in a good environment.

Spotlessly clean room, comfy bed, Well equipped - microwave, jug, fridge, toaster. Friendly service. Parking available for larger vehicles with access from road behind motel. Although the outside appearance of the motel is drab and lacks greenery, the rooms have been freshened up. The park just down the road is fantastic - full of greenery, birds, shade, the best children's playground I have ever seen, plus the Tourist Information Centre.

People could smoke directly outside their rooms which meant smoke could drift into nearby rooms through open windows or doors. A dedicated area for smokers, away from other visitors is a better idea. Higher quality sheets with no polyester content would be great.

Lovely welcome. Older, dated accommodation, but very clean & tidy. It has a little pool & a park just across the road. Great value for money. Rubbish emptied, tea & coffee replenished every day.

Was on the main road out of town so could be noisy at times.

I liked how friendly the managers are, and how resourceful and helpful they are. The room was clean with everything I needed for a one night stop over on my long car journey. It is also close enough to town to get a meal to bring back to the room to eat it while still hot.

Everything Location is perfect and no traffic noise while sleeping. Always recommend to stay at Plantation Park Motor Inn Ayr.😀

There's nothing not to like. Jeanette and John are wonderful people and very welcoming.😀 It's close to plenty of food places in walking distance.

Convenient for stop off on long drive. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room with good facilities. Own car parking spot immediately outside the door.

Would have been good to have tap in kitchen area, but better to have kitchen facilities with sink in bathroom than no kitchen facilities.

The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. There was a fridge, microwave, TV, air con and some cutlery and crockery. The staff were happy to assist with anything, and we were able to extend our stay last minute when we got stuck in Ayr after the rain.
