The rooms and bathrooms in this older style motel are spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette and a comfortable bed. My husband and I shared a family studio (1 Queen and 2 singles) with a what appeared to be a recently renovated bathroom and rain shower. The parking space in front of our studio was large – a nice change from the usual squeeze. There’s a coin operated laundry on site so it’s handy for longer stays. It's located 3 kms out of town so you will need to drive to the shops and restaurants. This is a good value option for Charters Towers if you have your own wheels!

The facilities were a little dated and grimy.

The unit that we had was spacious and clean with a lovely little deck off the back. Parking facilities were fantastic for our large four-wheel-drive. No mosquitos. Reasonable quiet. The managers were available for a late check-in.

The beds were very very firm, and there were no additional blankets in the room, just the standard quilt on the bed which was not very soft or warm.

Amasing setting, open area, lots of wee nooks to sit. The pool was gorgeous even had a resident frog! Cooffee rest area down the back with loads of tables .. make your own with all sorts of flavours, teas etc. Just out of town but close to everything really. Great wee town would highly recommend for a holiday. Everything we needed was there.

Dissappointed no skippys in the morning... thought with the land around might have seen some.

Lovely to meet the new owners, who were very welcoming. We were short two towels, but this was remedied immediately. I was expecting a two-bedroom unit as per our other five stays, but I must have made a mistake with the booking. The studio room were were given was very comfortable and clean, with enough room for a family of four.

First world problem, the TV is tiny. Location is quiet, but there are no food stores / takeaway shops nearby. That said, it's really only a negative if you don't want to drive.

We could use the laundry to get washing done , was expensive but what isn’t these days , the room was clean and comfortable

We didn’t have cover for our car , although the car was just across from the room it would have been better to have it in front of the room , as we had a Ute we had to remove things from the back as we would not be able to hear if anyone was at the vehicle

Great location and easy to get to the City. Quiet units from road trafffic noise

No sharp knife in the cutlery drawer. Hard mattress , uncomfortable pillows need replacing. The hot and cold taps in the shower need to be marked and are confusing as they turn opposite and not one way.

So glad we chose this place to stay at. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It was raining heavily when we arrived so it was fantastic that the car park in front of the unit was covered. The couple who were managing reception were very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay here.

There was nothing to complain about.

The 2 bedroom family unit was so roomy, modern, clean, quiet and comfortable.

The bathroom and shower were beautiful & I don’t want to appear to be complaining. The shower head was too big for the size of the shower compartment. Could not leave the door open at all without the water spraying out onto the bathroom floor.

Everything I liked. From the moment I arrived. I got an early check-in without prior notice. The management was absolutely sweet hearts. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who loves a perfect stay. Great views, great room, wonderful hospitality. ❤️

There's nothing not to like?

I loved the friendly service, the beautiful room and the peaceful and tranquil environment. I loved the deep sleep that I was able to have there and how comfortable I felt.

Would be nice if the mini fridge was just a little bigger and if the TV was centred to the bed. But neither of those things were an inconvenience.
