I could not fault the wagon wheel whatsoever. From the moment I received the room key from Wayne Chivers to the morning we left. Everything was breathtaking. Our little fur baby Alize also had a warm welcome from staff and other follow stayers. Fur baby looked forward to returning to our room to relax after a very long morning and afternoon. The pool was amazing to relax after a long day out. Thank you so much to the Chivers family. You out do yourselves everytime.

Service at reception and in restaurant was excellent and appreciated owner's flexibility with breakfast times. Location convenient, walking distance to town centre (where I was working) and easy walk to amazing Flying Doctor Museum. Excellent free wifi. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.

Rooms are a bit old but not a problem for me, it's very clean and beds are comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, the room was neat, refreshingly cool after a long drive with the aircon on when you arrive, the food at the motel restaurant was delicious. There was a good size desk to get some work done whilst I was on the road with easy wifi connection.

I really liked my stay here the most out of my work road-trip stops, the bathroom shower curtain was a little dated and some residue, but this isn't meant to be a 5 star hotel so it didn't bother me.

Bob and his wife are lovely and plan on doing great things to the motel. Our room was clean and comfortable and the pool was nice and cold. We had spaghetti bolognese and the vegetarian pizza at the restaurant and it was delicious. We would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff and owner. Info in room about what was close by (been lacking in other places lately, just needs to be wiped clean between each client). Washing machines and drier $4 for each and worked well though i used the clothes lines to dry our clothes. Restaurant reasonable and good food, good idea to book for weekends.

Nothing, would be happy to stay again

The motel is at the back of the old hotel and, on first sight, is not attractive. The room, however was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom needed a little attention - broken toilet seat- but the water was hot and plentiful.

The room backed on to the Cloncurry Bowls club that bowl/party late into the evening and start very early in the morning. No sleeping in!

The breakfast was lovely. It was hot and fresh.

I didn’t enjoy the meals in the restaurant. The service and the atmosphere were excellent but the food was a disappointment. I know they are having difficulty finding staff and I just want to encourage the owner to really invest in a top notch cook any way she can as this would then be an excellent venue in every way. The owner and her staff were so friendly and helpful and I am sorry to have to add the negative comment about the food.

Comfirtable, country motel. The Prince of Wales restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Drinks were cold, food and service excellent. it was quiet even though motel was full.

The property is a little dated but had everything we needed.

Location was great..handy to the wharf to go out on the night cruise, pub was handy for a meal,local supermarket across the road, staff were very friendly and helpful..great place to stayna

Staff were so helpful and as a female travelling alone I felt safe. Beds were so comfy and the room was clean. Compared to the other places I had stayed in central Australia it exceeded my expectations.
