We were greeted by the lovely lady at the front desk, checked straight in with compliment water and milk. When we arrived at the room, the air con and light were already turned on, which was a lovely touch after such a long drive. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. we could park right outside our room which made unloading very easy. will definitely stay again

The location was excellent walking distance to town . The room was excellent the best beds I have ever slept in . The Lady at check in was so helpful and polite couldn’t do enough to help us would recommend to everyone to stay at this excellent hotel. Thank you for a excellent stay .

Nothing the stay was perfect

Neat & clean Well stocked with milk, tea, coffee & biscuits THE BED WAS ABSOLUTELY LIKE SLEEPING IN HEAVEN! Because my husband & I are restless sleepers - me with arthritis & him with sleep apnoea the 2 Queen sized beds were wonderful - so comfortable! I think we’d still be there asleep in them! ** Tara was very pleasant & recommended a Chinese Restaurant which we would go back to in a heartbeat - delicious!!!

I have mobility problems & there wasn’t a grab rail in the bathroom near the toilet. Really, it wasn’t that much of a problem, but it’s just a confidence booster for me to be able to help myself get up & down!

At the reception warm and freindly, as i was leaving reception, was told to take as many bottles of water and milk as i wanted. Parking car was easy under cover outside room , was just about to enter room and could see in through window, at first we thought someone was in the room as the light was on but when we opened the door found light on, a/c purring at 24 degrees, 34 outside, everything was clean and cool and very welcoming after a day behind the wheel. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, and toiletries, fresh towels all laid out on the bed, ahh that bed was as good if not better than the one i have at home, such a suprise after so many other motel beds being hard and uncomfortable. I would give this motel an eleven out of ten if i could, this motel has set the bar for all other motels to try and reach.

Nothing if anyone complains about room 5 they would be really hard to please

Excellent motel. Booked for one night and ended up having to stay for two due to flooding. It was SUPER clean. The bathroom was fully stocked with toiletries (toothbrush razor etc) which was a plus for me having been on a motorbike for 5 days. The tv had access to netflix stan etc. There is a decent size fridge and microwave. LOCATION is a plus. Easy to get to and within walking distance of food and a servo. The host was friendly. 10/10 for this motel highly recommend

The reception staff were very friendly and helpfull. Parking was great, we were towing a large trailer and could leave it parked out front of the motel without an issue. The room was very clean, the bathroom is dated but clean and the shower is good. The pillows were very comfortable to the extent that my husband googled the brand and will buy some himself. The bed was ok. The motel was conveniently located to amenities and there is an excellent cafe right next door. We would definitely consider staying here again.

There was a lot of noise from the room next door, they weren't exceptionally noisy, but it I could hear their TV and buzz from their conversation. thankfully they didn't stay up late. the bed was ok, but i didn't find it very comfortable.

The lady at the check in desk was friendly and very cheerful and also letting us know of great places to eat for dinner. The room was perfect. We had a little table and chairs to sit at and there was also a single lounge chair. There was plenty of amenities for us to use. The room was set up nicely and there was plenty of room for us to put our things. It was right in the centre of town and you could walk everywhere.

I guess the only thing was the bathroom was a little small, but it worked well for 2 travellers. Everything else was perfect.

Room was very clean, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, shower was great, undercover parking a big bonus. We really liked the receptionist who was very personable and welcoming. The motel is located within easy walking distance of everything ie supermarkets, shops, restaurants and a walking path along the river.

Our only criticism is the size of the room - it is too small for a comfortable lounge chair. There is a cushioned cane chair outside the room, but the weather was too cold.

The good quality products provided in bathroom were great, over and above expectations (& not a nasty 4 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand wash). Cleanliness was great, you could smell the quality. The only motel I have come across for quite some time with a bed that does not feel like a concrete torture table.

The only thing I noticed was the shower flowed out over the bathroom floor, but by the time I realized the bath mat was drenched.

Great country hospitality, refreshing deco, the most comfortable bed I have slept in on my many country motel stays. Great location, coffee available next door, plenty of hotel choices in walking distance, clean and the biscuits were to die for. See you again Border Motel.
