Compact motel in the centre of town, reasonably priced, with all the facilities you need. Owner very helpfully listed all the places in town where you can go out for dinner and breakfast when I checked in. She was rightly proud of her town and recommended visiting the Miles Historical Village Museum. I did and it was excellent. Good Guest Information folder in the room. Bedside lamps hang down from ceiling and are high enough to provide good light to read in bed. Rooms are in behind reception and screening vegetation, at the back of the property so no noise from the highway/main street.

Nothing to complain about. Everything was fine.

Staff very friendly. Location central and meals at pub across the road were lovely. Rooms very clean, bed very comfortable. Double room had table plus 2 chairs and 2 easy chairs. Some motels only have the one easy chair for some reason. Continental breakfast could be purchased for a small price which was good value but we had our own. Great price through Booking.com

One side of the bed was a bit too close to the brick wall. Bed couldn’t be moved as fixed bedhead.

Nicole was very welcoming and told us a bit about the town and the good places to eat. The Motel is small, only 12 rooms and they look lovely with hanging baskets outside each. The room was the nicest we had stayed in during our two week holiday, flower arrangement in bedroom and bathroom, super clean, and there were two rocking chairs. Nice to get comfy seats. Well equipped and a cereal and toast breakfast was on offer, we were sorry we were not staying for more than one night.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like

We love staying here and have stayed several times to break up our journey to and from Brisbane. It has a comfy bed spacious room and bathroom the first place i have ever seen to have comfy BLUE TOWELS and a nice shower mat the air conditioning is tiny but by placing the provided fan underneath to direct the cooler air to the bed worked wonderfully! we love staying here if you want simplicity with a complimentary breakfast then here is your place to stay. Value for money and so quiet comfy rooms and carpeted with pub meals across the road. Also, Glenn and Nicole will be your hosts and they are very lovely (Glenn can be a tad cheeky sometimes 😉😉😉😆) I suggest if you need a break while travelling through the western downs here is your place, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

It was perfect

Everything. Staff contacted me when I was running late to see where I was Waited until I got there. Were so friendly. Then I got into my room and wow after the Walgett experience. So nice, clean And comfortable Microwave and toaster in addition to the usual jug. Just wonderful. I will stay there again.

We like this motel. It's clean and comfortable. Opposite the shops. Often swim in the pool.

The breakfast used to be included in the room cost but is now $5 per person. A bit step for two pieces of bread and a couple of tiny spreads.

Very comfortable room with all you need whilst travelling. Although it has age on its side it was well looked after and quite spacious. The fact the owners looked after all aspects of the booking you can respect their commitment to maintaining a good reputation.

All good for us

The choices for breakfast were excellent. The air conditioner was on in my room on arrival, so it was nice and cozy for me, I did not have to wait for the room to heat up. This is thoughtfulness by the host and much appreciated. The room was comfortable and everything was provided for to enable the heating up of an evening meal and making of breakfast. Plenty of coffee, tea and milk. Nice soft towels and comfortable pillows. Of which there were plenty. Plenty of extra blankets if needed. Situated on a busy road for trucks, I was not aware of any traffic noise from inside the room. Would stay again.

The breakfast was sufficient to sustain you till you were on the road and had morning tea. The position in town allowed easy access to places to obtain food for dinner and breakfast as well as the art gallery.

The usual things of people leaving early or arriving as you readied for bed. However that is motel life, especially when you are on a busy highway.

The room was very comfortable. Price was very reasonable. Owner was very helpful and had a lovely friendly manner. In a great location near pub and cafes.

Bit tired looking on the outside, which didn't really effect stay but thought it could do with a freshen up.
