The room was compact and comfortable. There was a kitchen available for guests to use: large fridge,microwave and mini oven with a stock of cutlery/ crockery ,tea towels etc. Tea coffee and sugar was provided. A washing machine was available and was free to use. I didn't have an ensuite room . The separate shared bathroom/toilet was always clean. A little out of the town centre - a 15 minute easy walk I found this accommodation very convenient. It is opposite part of the mine. Katrina the manager is very friendly and helpful. She offers to drive travellers to the Greyhound bus stop and went out of her way to ensure I had a lift to the airport. I very much appreciated that gesture . I used Cityside as a base,staying there on three separate occasions and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Room was perfect for my needs – nice, clean, enough room, good bed, good A/C, good TV with the main channels. I think the Wifi was decent, but I also had my own Telstra mobile data with me, so I didn't focus on the Wifi. Good helpful staff (Matthew) – was accommodating and promptly attended to my late check-in that was arranged prior, which made the whole process easy. Shared facilities (kitchen and bathroom) were clean.

Bathroom was a bit small, but this wasn't an issue for me. Can't really fault it.

This is a comfortable and economically-priced property located about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Mount Isa town. The receptionist was very pleasant. There was a kitchen serving a block of 6 rooms with a large fridge and cutlery etc. The large bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning (needed in this very hot town in summer) worked well. Although the property is on a relatively busy road my room was quiet. A toilet and shower were just across the corridor outside my room and were clean and well-maintained.

Staff are great! very helpful & kind. kitchen facilities are well equipped, laundry facilities are great with ability to dry on line or by machine, lots of hot water & good shower pressure, linens& towel smell like sunshine, AC cooled room very quickly & has several fan modes, also has good set up to cook & dine outdoor with a nice view, really liked the citrus trees. room was large, comfortable bed, closet ,sidetable w lamp, clothes drawer, in room fridge plus large fridge in kitchen. Excellent facilities & stay (clean clean clean)! Peaceful.

As someone who is fastidious about cleanliness this place really ticked all the boxes. The owners take enormous pride in keeping this place spotless. I stayed 2 nights in the private double room and then one night in the single room with shared bathroom and both were excellent. Both options have a private fridge and there is also a microwave, kettle and plenty of cutlery available. I also did my laundry while I was here, thanks so much for that, an absolute life saver after being on the road for 2 weeks!!

The local Coles and Woolies close early on Saturdays and are not open Sundays. While there are convenience stores nearby they are overpriced and limited. So if you are arriving late on Saturday on the Greyhound definitely bring some extra supplies.

This is my third stay at the Cityside, roughly one year apart. Manageress, Katrina, always recongnize me. That's makes the Citysade a home away from home when I come through the Isa. It is not a luxury place, but it is clean, quiet and above all personal. Any problem with your car (or whatever else), Katrina's husband, Gibba, will bend over backward to help you, believe me. So kudo for the Cityside

Everything works and it was clean. Hostess was kind and co-customerd were nice. Peaceful place and good atmosphere. With car, location id good and parking on backyard is safe and easy.

It’s unfair to say that I did’t like, cause you can’t ask more on this price category, but you must understand that room is tiny.

I loved that it was so quiet, the aircon was excellent, the room was huge, the bathroom was very large. The bed was extremely comfortable, actually I slept better than at home (!). I really like that I wasn't bothered by staff knocking on the door, the lights were well placed. Loved the high velocity standing fan I could also use if wanted, the couch in the room was very comfy and everything was very clean. If there was anything at all I could have asked it would be an exhaust fan in the bathroom (although the aircon flowed through there so shower steam was blown straight out anyway), and the shower head hose was a bit tough for my hands as I have arthritis in my wrists. But I loved my stay and won't go anywhere else when I stay in the Isa again.

The sheets were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Aircon worked well. The lady checking me in was nice. Having a fridge in the room is great in the shared rooms.. I would stay again.

I don't know if the man in the room next door was smoking IN his room or the smell just clung to his clothes but my whole room smelt like cigarettes. No real fault of the owners. Its a bit hard to control things like that.

As far as motels go, this one goes that one step further! Very clean, comfortable, quiet, and with very friendly staff to boot. It had everything that a traveller could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again if in Mt Isa.
